The problem when you still have Fellaini in the side is not to expect beautifull flowing football to come.

But the most strange thing is it seems JM willing to change his gameplan to accomodate Fellaini than to use it to let his creative players do the magic.

He used to work for Sky but since he left I can't recall him getting much right. All he's doing is regurgitating what the other papers are saying about us being open to use Martial and Darmian to get Sandro.

Fellaini knows we have a budget and it will cost a minimum of 50m to replace him.Its either he gets his contract or he leaves.
if mourinho will be guaranteed extra money to spend,he won't be asking for him to stay.
Our budget is most likely around 150m before sales, and our Deadwood won't really fetch much unless we want to sell martial also, and we have a lot of position to fill.

I'm hope Fellaini also knows we can get a much better player than him for 50m.

Lemmy has forsaken us....
Really? Never heard this before, and doesn't look like it from the matches he's played against us.
He mentioned in an interview that he had a bit of a falling out with his dad over turning us down for Chelsea, even though he was a fan too as he believed Chelsea to be better for his career.

How much you wanna bet that rumours about that slightly above average Italian forward Belotti come up soon. This time he'll be worth 90 million.

Money hasn't gone up so high that £50m is now a squad player fee!

I mean his replacement, would have to be a quality player or we might as well just keep him.
Well we want to keep him, it's him who seems to be overplaying his level.
We could replace his level for a reasonable fee.

Raphael Honigstein: "Bayern Munich have tabled a €60 million bid for Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, according to sources familiar with the negotiations.
Leverkusen, however, are holding out for a fee closer to €100m and would much prefer to sell the 20-year-old to Real Madrid, who have also expressed a strong interest in him.
Leverkusen are confident more bidders from abroad will materialise in coming weeks. Many Premier League clubs have closely followed the Jamaica youth international's progress but as of today, Bayern are the only club to have made a concrete offer.

Don’t know why people are saying “but it will cost more to replace Fellaini”. He doesn’t need replacing.

Pogba, Matic, Herrera, McTominay, Pereira, and a new CM will be enough. The new CM we would buy anyway, and Pereira can take Fellaini’s spot.

A serious case of quantity over quality there

Jose will play 2 CM’s when he has all the players he wants. 3 midfielders in the bigger games.

Pogba, Matic and new CM in a midfield 3. Herrera as main rotation player. Mou doesn’t like to rotate often so having loads of quality on the bench won’t be played that much and will be a waste of money that could go to other areas. McTominay and Pereira as back up. The starters are the quality. Herrera is very good as a squad option. McTominay and Pereira are future players for the club.

He is entitled to ask for however much money he wants.

The club doesn't have to agree to it.

The problem here isn't Fellaini, it's the club/Jose.
Yes cant blame Fellaini if he does decide to leave, divided opinion and not been a fan favourite. I would be glad to be rid of him, one of the worst midfielders we have ever had in terms of kind of the kind of player we should have there. A truly awful signing, which isnt his fault, he is good in terms of his strengths, just never should have been a signing for our club that type of player.
