Yes contrary to a lot of opinions, I share yours that there is money for us to make in the transfer market for us this summer without having to sell the likes of Pogba. It would be way over £1m I would think per week wages wise too.

DeGea is an awkward one though as he is a concern, is Henderson ready or dare I say it actually a Number 1 for us anyway, is he actually that good or just exciting as ts a decent young English keeper and there havent been many for a while. I dont see DeGea going, if we are to be aggresive for four signings this summer though I would consider both Fred and Bailly as potential sales myself
Yeah, I'll be honest I don't know what to do with De Gea. We can't keep De Gea and not play him on those wages. We can't also have Henderson and Romero. I like the idea of selling De Gea because even if Henderson has some struggles we have Romero who can come in. It's not like De Gea hasn't cost us points.

I also feel like De Gea is the most settled he has ever been and yet at his worst in terms of form. Herrera left already and Mata is on his way so he could be the only Spaniard left at the club. David Silva also leaving City and you would imagine they might socialise.

Briefed by Dortmund that there is a fixed price and a fixed deadline. Obviously neither is true.
It looks like both United are Dortmund are keeping their actual interactions behind the scenes. The tweets seem to indicate relatively strong positions from both sides (United: have enough time to negotiate for a player seemingly wanting to come; Dortmund: fixed price & deadline, player will remain otherwise).

@mazhar13 the early MVP of this thread. Nice to check in and see what’s been going on. I sense a tagline in the near future for you, my friend.
I forgot to respond to this earlier, but thanks for the compliment! :)

I only decided to get on this because of the lack of relatively reliable transfer news being posted here. I also wanted to show that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to certain transfers.

Announcement: Benfica denies any interest in Edinson Cavani (note: he was strongly linked to them by various media outlets in Portugal).

Translation:
Sport Lisboa e Benfica repudiates and denies the various false news carried by various media that publicize the Club's interest in the acquisition of several players, without any basis.

Among them, we particularly highlight the news that reported an alleged direct involvement of President Luís Filipe Vieira, who would have called on him to conduct the eventual process of acquiring the Uruguayan international player, Edinson Cavani.

This news is totally false, taking advantage of the Club to clarify that any institutional contacts with a view to strengthening the squad for the next season will only take place after the completion of the Portuguese Cup final, next Saturday, which marks the end of this season, denying any involvement of the President in the aforementioned process or in any other reported.

RMC Sport reported a few days ago that PSG are targeting Matheus Cunha to make up for the losses of Edinson Cavani and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Recently, according to Sport Bild, Hertha Berlin have set a 50 million Euro price tag on him.

This guy has some fancy clips and goal contributions. Might become a really good player

As expected, King, Ake, and Wilson are likely to leave.
We should be all over Ake then. He will come as cheap and good backup. Anyone who oppose this, do you still want to see “Duncan Edwards” Jones wear United shirt ? If no, then this is no brainer

I don't know how reliable AS are with Real-Madrid-related news (@carvajal ?), but Takefusa Kubo is in hot demand as Real Madrid seek a new club for his next loan spell.

Summary:
  • Osasuna are in pole position.
  • Sevilla were strongly linked previously, but they're ruled out now.
  • Real Betis & Granada are also linked.
  • 5 million Euro loan fee
  • Ajax & Lazio are also interested.

Why do we seem to take so long to close out transfers whereas Chelsea have seemingly confirmed theirs before the window was officially even open?

For those thinking that the Havertz-to-Chelsea transfer was straightforward:

There's a 20 million Euro valuation difference between Leverkusen and Chelsea, and no bid has been sent out yet.

Fabrizio Romano stamps the "here we go!" on the Ferran-Torres-to-City transfer:
Man City have a proper recruitment department. This is what it looks like.

Pep ruled out Sancho ages ago and this guy will probably be just as good if not better.
