He’ll be worth triple in a few years. Leicester are great in the market.

He'll be worth triple? It doesn't even say the price. And it's worth noting that when we were linked with him, the only club to bid for him was Newcastle.

For how great they are in the transfer window, they're the opposite when under pressure on the pitch, they could be out of the top 4 if West Ham win their next 2 games and we beat Leicester next week.

Their position has nothing to do with their transfers. The point is, they are great in the market.

It’s Leicester, FFS! They are out-performing about four clubs they have no right to be out-performing over the last two seasons. If they finish 5th or 6th this season, it’s still a very respectable effort from them.

Nobody - again - would have given them a prayer of finishing 3rd or 4th at the start of the season yet once again it’s being used as a stick to beat them with. I find it all a bit odd to be honest. There are plenty more deserving clubs in the league to rip the piss out of before we get started on Leicester, let’s be fair here.

How does it not, who are they playing if their transfers aren't playing? They have to play the players they sign, for their value to appreciate.
Their player value doesn't appreciate? Seriously ? mate you have no idea what you are talking.

This is in response to Falk mentioning that we're more interested in Bellingham than Sancho at the moment.

Perhaps it's to do with the fact they are top 4 for 99% of the season and then fail at the last gasp.

Looks like they could do that again this season.

You have to be a bit more realistic. Have you looked at our schedule? There's no way we are beating Leicester 48 hours after playing Villa and 48 hours before we play Liverpool. We need to field a strong team and do everything we can to beat Villa on Sunday, then rest the entire first-team squad to keep them somewhat fresh for Liverpool on Thursday. That means we likely lose to Leicester playing all reserves on Tuesday. But we give ourselves the best chance of winning two of these games with this strategy.

Nothing to do with the fact they have a small squad? Leicester have absolutely no right to be above the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool. The fact they have been for so long is testament to the recruitment.

Yeah true but to spend almost 2 entire seasons inside the top 4 only to drop out in the last week of the league must be so discouraging.

Punching above their weight but at the same time the ultimate disappointment to fail at the last hurdle.

Yeah absolutely, given it’s not even the difficult fixtures that have tripped them up this year. I just don’t think it means that they haven’t recruited some great players.

Plus they won the league far more recently than us, so posters saying they fail at the last hurdle must have short memories.

PSG's top priority is to extend Mbappe. If it fails, they want Salah. The player looks set to leave Liverpool. PSG remains attentive to Messi situation regardless of Mbappe's extension talks. Leonardo has inquired to Rennes about Camavinga.

Where could Mbappe even realistically go if he did leave? Both Spanish teams are broke (hence their utter desperation to join the Super League still). None of the Italian teams can afford him. Neymar just signed for completely insane wages so you’d imagine Mbappe would want similar. Who else could pay €600k+ per week other than PSG?

Of course disappointing for them if they fail to make the top four like last season.....but hardly failure, this is Leicester and they are a selling club. They have sold Chilwell, Maguire, Mahrez, Kante in each of the last four years, basically outside of Vardy there best player each season. This is a club cloese to relegation the season before they won the league and struggling for the first two years after it. For them to be where they are is a fantastic achievement whether or not they make the top four. And a big part of that is wth them doing great deals within the transfer market adding to some good youth players comig through.
How can you even suggest they havent done well off the pitch in the transfer market is beyond me in all honesty

Havent seen a huge amount of him but do try and watch him after us being linked before. Looks a good player in the making, but I am not sure he is ready for a move to a big club....nor certain he is actually quite good enough.

I think this is the perfect move for him and Leicester.

I can understand his decision to leave Barça as he's too talented not to be the main guy - something he knew would never happen with Messi.
Well, no he isn't "too talented" because the main guy is more talented than you. He is the second best player in that squad yet left to play semi professional teams every other week.

The way it's unfolded Neymar is now possibly better off staying at PSG, it's a bit of mess at Barca since he left and arguably his move sent Barca flapping, pissed the money up the wall, increased salaries and now have no chance to bring him back or pay him and don't have a situation to tempt him back.
