On Dembele - it’s useless comparing him to players like Giggs and Robben from an injury perspective.

There is far too many stories around Dembele’s lifestyle for their not to be truth in it. This isn’t someone who just turns up late to training. This is someone who apparently cannot look after himself at all from a dietary perspective or even a basic living perspective - the latter was referenced even going back to his time at Dortmund. The injuries are a direct consequence of this - unprofessionalism off the pitch will lead to poor preparation which will lead to muscle injuries.

He has all the natural ability in the world. Mentally, I’m afraid he’s still a teenager.

The second paragraph doesn't make sense if the first paragraph is true. Balague needs to re-read his tweets before he sends them out.
It does. We’ve ruled out buying him but we’re happy for the rumours of him coming on loan to roll on as it acts as a shield for the Sancho deal

It does, United have said they don't want to buy him, loan only, which may be a ploy to make Dortmund aware we have other targets.

Poor united need a Covid discount to get any deal done, we are a small family business and other clubs should pity us.

We can't compete with City, Chelsea, even Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal. Those clubs don't deserve a 30% Covid discount.

Porto and Dortmund are just being selfish

Ah, that's right! He scored his first goal for us the other day, didn't he?
Scored in a penalty shootout for the U23s against Rochdale. Made his full debut for the U18s against Blackburn, no goals or assists and struggled to get into the game a little but looked really good on the ball when he had it.

Yeh he left his apartment is such a bad state there was a court case over it. Also caused issues with Dortmund as a club and not welcome back.

Says Sancho isn't sick but his absence was due to him trying to push through a move. Also says Dortmund are denying this and that a reliable local paper insists Dortmund won't sell at any price now.

Also says Sancho's people say the deal is 50/50 to happen.

Again, the major Scandinavian outlets don't pull stuff out of their bottoms.
Good one

How would they set up with all these attackers? Don't see rumor of any outgoing among Spurs attackers beside Alli.

Carlos Vinicius style is similar to Benzema in my eye.
Vinicius would be squad cover/rotation for Kane. He would also provide the tactical/formation option of playing with 2 strikers (alongside Kane). All of our other attackers are either wing-forwards or AMs, but not really central forwards.

Im not against future signings but if he’s being lined up for the first team then we aren’t in a position to wait for him to develop we need proper strength in depth.

He‘s barely even made the Atalanta first team squad

He didn't. Played 20 minutes last season.

Would Traore be an additional option on top of Sancho/Dembele/whoever? I‘d be happy with that.
Yeah as long as it's in addition to Sancho/Dembele (on loan) and not instead
Says at the end that Traore is not seen as a Sancho alternative.

Barca offer a loan for dembele
Dembele doesnt want a loan or a move to Man Utd
Man Utd trying to convince him to join.
Cheers. This is Bad News Bear for us then...what a situation to be in with a few days left of the window, chasing a dead end so late on. Is this the board trying to make a show of going for players despite knowing we wont sign anybody?

Dont see why you need to beg him to join. If he doesnt want to go move on. Seems desperate if not.

The whole dembele thing doesn't make any sense so if he doesn't want to leave. He won't move and he won't even accept a loan which is just temporary for a season to get game time. So theres zero point in actually going after him.

Jovic and Cavani are targets for a different area. Don't think the former will happen as Zidane has made a point of playing him recently but Cavani might be possible... if not for the wages he'd want.

Not really sure what Fabrizio is even saying here?
Exactly the same that has been said a number of times before except now he's stuck the word confirmed we before it for added drama.
