Wasn't he doing well in Portugal though ?
Remember reading that he was getting interest from Benfica.

True, and I'm sure he'll be earning a good wage. However, he was ridiculously hyped as a youngster, but at 25 he has yet to win a senior cap for Scotland and hasn't done much at club level. It's fair to say that he never lived up to the early hype.Yep I did think that. However then I thought not everyone has to play European football to make a good life, so good luck to him.
Brentford know what FCM want (obviously ) and are prepared to pay it - issue at the moment is Rennes have offered wages above what we want to pay and we don't want to break our wage structure. Maybe a deal to be done with bonuses playing a heavy part in his contract, especially if Rennes are serious about not coming back in for him.Tweet

Lille want to sign Atleti's second goalkeeper Ivo Grbić but the rojiblancos will simply let him leave on loan. There was no agreement between the French club and Sergio Rico [of PSG] who is still in the market.
This may fit better in here:That tweet fits way better in his performance thread than in the transfer thread.

Pep being Pep. With Kane they would be unstoppable but he likes his midfielders and will play different false 9's all season.Tweet

So it's either Grealish or Kane for City, who've decided to go for Grealish.
what is this new bullshit that keeps popping up on the forum? Pogba and Bruno played together tons of times last year and we didn’t just get “ran through”?What I was saying was that none of Saul/Neves/Camavinga are capable of allowing both Pogba and Bruno to play, we'll get ran through.
