According to other undisclosed reports, Ruben Amorim has a £10m release clause. This is also the first time that we're seeing reports about Ruben Amorim being contacted by Villa.

GO WHERE? According to TNT Sports, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Liverpool are interested in Bruno Guimaraes and should contend for the Brazilian's signature next season. Newcastle, however, intends to offer a new contract to extend the player's term.
  • All of Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Liverpool are currently monitoring Bruno's contract situation.
  • If Bruno doesn't sign a new contract, then these clubs will pursue the player.

Shakhtar Donetsk's deputy sporting director Carlo Nicolini on the Mudryk interest:
There are many English candidates, there is the Spanish on duty, the French on duty, but now it takes the right amount to take him away. Together with Mbappè, Leao and Vinicius, Mudryk is the strongest player in that position.

Oscillating between Arsenal and Manchester City? They are two teams that have taken an interest in the player. But there are also other clubs that can spend right away.
On what amount would be required to sell him:
Is €40m enough to buy him? We do not speak to these figures. Not even for €50m, we don’t even call the president to communicate the offer. We value Mudryk more than Antony of Manchester United, who cost €100m.

We are not obliged to sell, we do not want to make phenomena. We don’t want to shoot figures that aren’t realistic. But in this team, he is the most decisive. If you want to take on certain players who make a difference in the top clubs, you also need the right money.

Seems they're having a bit of a shakeup, they made a similar announcement yesterday too I believe.
That was a technical director. We have had several appointed with different duties. Some are focused on the team and others on the multi-club purchasing.

İlkay Gündoğan's contract expires in June 2023 and he wants to think it over, it's not just a sporting matter.
  • Gundogan's contract expires next year.
  • City want to extend his contract.
    • No agreement yet, but this is still possible, though.
  • Gundogan wants to take some time to think about his future.
  • Interested clubs:
    • Bayern Munich (according to Sky Sport Germany, which is Tier 2)
    • PSG
    • Juventus (salary is a problem)

Kanté is one of the favourites to strengthen Barça's midfield. The Chelsea midfielder is convincing because of his footballing profile...and because he would arrive for free.
  • Note: Kanté's contract expires at the end of this season
  • Other option: Ruben Neves
    • Laporta-Mendes relationship key here
    • Contract expires in 2024
    • Expected fee: €25m
    • Barcelona may become more financially restricted due to La Liga's FFP next summer, so they may have to act in the January window.

The club mentioned in the Tweet is Barcelona. Source (Tier 1): Fernando Polo

  • Barcelona see Neves as a player with a "good long pass and powerful physique".
  • However, they don't see him as being able to play as the sole deepest midfielder.
  • Xavi prefers Real Sociedad's Martín Zubimendi over Neves.

The contract details weren't disclosed when Unai Emery was announced as the manager, but if this is the case, then I wouldn't be surprised if Villa handed him a 6-year contract.
