Delph at the time made sense as he had just been at City and was versatile and a leader. He turned out to be a complete cnut and covid-loony though. The others, including Winks are distinctly average and I'm disappointed we want to spend c. 20m on him.Everton love a mediocre midfielder every now and then.
Fabian Delph, Tom Cleverley, Darron Gibson, Morgan Schneiderlin.
It's funny that they keep doing thisEverton love a mediocre midfielder every now and then.

Completed the most passes of any GK in Europe's top 5 leagues last season. Pep-tastic.
Looks like Pep is kicking Steffen to the curb.
I hope we stay far away
Calls for United
Here we are going after Bachman.
If he’s that good why is he agreeing to go warm City’s bench?Damn. I've liked Ortega since seeing him be a one man wall against Leverkusen.
Total style contrast to De Gea...a front foot, footballing keeper who touched the ball more than any keeper in Europe last year. Also registered the 4th highest 1v1 save percentage and statistically great shot stopper too.
Another really smart signing from City, while we get Bachmann who's good at pretty much nothing.
Gabriel Jesus for a reported £50m is fantastic business by City.
Tbh you’ve had very good keepers be backups at big clubs. That’s nothing new. Cudicini at Chelsea comes to mind. Guy was incredible before Czech signed and was good enough to start for most top clubs. If he’s that good why is he agreeing to go warm City’s bench?
That was 20 years ago! Anyone having a moan because of rumoured 2nd choice GK targets really has lost their head.Tbh you’ve had very good keepers be backups at big clubs. That’s nothing new. Could be the best thing for Steffen’s development.

I don't see any top 6 club having a use for him, maybe Spurs for depth. West Ham could be a good spot but he'd be too proud to go there. Not the same player and a lot less adventurous than Rice but a cheap stop gap if they sold him next summer.
The fact that he is not wanted at juventus should ring alarm bells for any top 6 -8 side.
Had to be Lampard, didn't it? Couldn't scour any number of midfielders who are a lot better for half the price in Europe. Had to go for the distinctly average and British player.Everton love a mediocre midfielder every now and then.

Not really, injury to first choice and then you're in a world of trouble. That was 20 years ago! Anyone having a moan because of rumoured 2nd choice GK targets really has lost their head.
Sky Sports are saying it's for £10m. No wonder they dropped interest in Henderson if they knew they could get Pope for that fee. That's a really good deal.
Not great with his feet but maybe Eddie Howe doesn’t care despite being a progressive coach.Sky Sports are saying it's for £10m. No wonder they dropped interest in Henderson if they knew they could get Pope for that fee. That's a really good deal.
Harry Winks is a bottom half team player imo. Wondering if Lampard/Everton are having trouble attracting sufficient talent in this window.
I think Zaha might hold out for a top 6 club after destroying his chance for a move with his last contract.
Zaha's one of the players whose contract will expire next year. Also, Palace are currently in negotiations with Kouyaté. They want to offer only one-year contracts to players over 30, but Kouyaté wants a two-year one instead.
Harsh on Youri. If it weren't ETH wanting FDJ, I wouldn't mind getting Tielemans. Not sure if who Arsenal is targeting will be what they need to get top 4, but figure Tielemans would be a big help.
Kounde-Barcelona topic in Relevo.
- As of today Sevilla have NOT received any official offer.
- Yes, there have been contacts [from other clubs]: [a sale is the] definite objective of the club.
- Sevilla do not want deferred payments or creative formulas.
- Bordeaux would receive a 20% capital gain.
- Competition from Chelsea is an important factor: there is already an agreement with the player.
- Nothing imminent.
So, you could say he's not so Kean on those two clubs?
Kean prefers to play for better clubs, so he's waiting for other interested teams to come forward before looking at the Fulham and Forest offers.
