Linking anyone with United is always good click bait for all the sites. I take all of it with a massive pinch of salt. Osimhen makes sense because we can dangle other players to Napoli to get him at a reduced price. Gyokeres also makes sense because of his close ties to Amorim. We could of course buy someone else, but with the urgency for Amorim to sink or swim next year, I doubt we take a big chance on another unproven young striker.

The journalist who suggested strong interest is for Bundasliga targets though. He was the first to call De Ligt to United.

Anyway I'd personally have concerns for both. Osimhen I've heard is limited as a player and a bit of a brat. If he's not scoring it can go south quite quickly..

Wouldn't surprise me if we're looking at him as well. A lot of this will of course depend on funds available. But in the end, when you have two experienced goal machines available, both have to be the leading targets imo.

I agree, a striker who knows where the goal is should be a priority. I'm just concerned about the all round fit for Osimhen. I was quite interested in the Mateta link though.

Would be intrigued by either of the experienced options in Osimhen/Mateta as see Gyokeres to Arsenal gaining more legs in next few weeks.

I'm not sure. I've said throughout my whole career, I'm not someone who likes to think too far ahead. I'm extremely happy here. I think we have a fantastic team, fantastic coaching staff and I just feel like whilst I feel like I'm in the best condition, I wanna play at the highest level possible, and this is as high as it gets. So I know a lot can change in football in a short space of time and things can happen, but ultimately my focus is here. I'm not thinking about any other league or any other team.
