Tier 2:

City are struggling to advance on any right back that they're interested in. Newcastle want to keep Livramento, whilst no progress has been made on Cambiaso. Achraf Hakimi is a pipe dream for them at this point.

Another club who don't seem to give a shit how much they spend.

They've got Delap, presumably on a promise of regular 1st team football and now they're ready to drop another 100M on another striker.

And, what are they going to do with their existing, expensively assembled strike force? Sell them to themselves for an overinflated fee.

What a shoddy little club they are, they disgust me just as much as City.

Oh Chelsea's not even in the same stratosphere as City for me. I'll take a private equity firm 100 times out of 100 over a dictator.

I do wonder what they're doing with the strikers though. Surely Delap would've been briefed on if they were going to add Ekitike? Unless he just doesn't care and went with the highest bidder. And I assume they're selling Jackson if they add both of these guys? Very curious

City signing two different guys named Rayan wasn't on anyone's bingo card.
