Sadly looks to me like Arsenal are getting Rodrygo.I‘d love Rodrygo at Bayern as well. There’s a hole at LW that he‘d fit nicely.
There’s are rumors about Nico and Leao but Rodrygo doesn’t seem to be on the market.
I think Howe would start him over Pope. He'd be better off staying at Burnley and playing every week, then maybe having his pick at the end of the season if he does well
You're probably right to be fairI think Howe would start him over Pope.
If they have full trust in their current keepers why are they looking to buy a new one then.
He is great, just injury prone.I don't watch much Italian football, but when I have, he's always looked a really solid keeper. Surprised at that sort of fee for him, unless he's actually not all that great.
It's an open secret that Chelsea want a better GK, better than what they currently have, you guys had 2 of the best GKs I've ever seen in Cech and Courtois for over a decade and they were never replaced since then.Market opportunity I think. Like I'm sure Chelsea are happy with Cucurella, but if Mendes was suddenly available for a modest fee, we would most likely jump on that opportunity.
What surprises me is how both Milan and Chelsea let this deal die over a couple of million. It was reported that Chelsea were willing pay £18m, which is 21m euro while Milan wouldn't go lower than 23m euro.
Lots of smoke, but not sure if Arsenal has the money or the player is interested in leaving Madrid. Sesko and Zubi will probably cost over 130m.Sadly looks to me like Arsenal are getting Rodrygo.
Sounds like Bayern want Barcola or Nico, good signings both of them. Leao, not so much.
If Arsenal manage to land Rodrygo it'll be very interesting- having been deemed the least important at Madrid, he's been doing much more dirty work than he'd do at Arsenal. His numbers have suffered because of this- and on the numbers he has, his price actually might look a tad high. 16 goals in about 48 games worth of footie last year doesn't scream "wow" but in that time he's also scored 10 in the CL which is good numbers. I have a feeling at Arsenal he'd boom, and be a 20 goal a season LW for them.
Rodrygo-Havertz/Sesko-Saka looks a lot more formidable.

I dont know what this transfer is about but I doubt it's about football. Lots of shady dealings between Textor, Lyon's owner, and Marinakis, Forest's owner. Lyon's fans are convinced Marinakis has something on Textor and is blackmailing himBetter chance of playing there, which is what he needs, but still not the guaranteed #1. USMNT is getting beaten up by our Euro based players who aren't playing enough...and then by the ones who are playing "too much". What a mess we're in.
Well now I feel worse about it.I dont know what this transfer is about but I doubt it's about football. Lots of shady dealings between Textor, Lyon's owner, and Marinakis, Forest's owner. Lyon's fans are convinced Marinakis has something on Textor and is blackmailing him
Lyon are in dire financial trouble, they were transfer banned a few weeks ago because of a €2K debt (yes K, not M), and have 5 senior goalkeepers on contract and are spending €8M on a 6th one? And 2 of the GK they already have are good enough to start for them (Lucas Perri the current starter and Patouillet who's coming back from loan).
They still rejected the offer even with the added €5m!

Since they have no European football, most of their players aren't as willing to stick around and would rather join a team that's in Europe next season. What’s going on at Milan then? Feels like they are getting rid of everyone.
