Valencia needed to make room in their wage bill to be able to sign their latest signings: Castillejo and Samuel Lino.
Jasper Cillessen leaves Valencia. As Héctor Gómez has already revealed, the goalkeeper has signed for Eredivisie club NEC Nijmegen.

Positive contact in the last hours on the Arthur-Valencia front: club at work to find a financial settlement on the loan. Total appreciation from Gattuso (who has already heard from the player).

15M seems low for Sanchez, unless he is on his final year of contract, or is this 15M a loan fee?
Because he’s average as they get. Same guy who couldn’t cut it at Swansea. He’s going to be backup at PSG.

We cry that our backups are deadwood but yet you want us to add more average players.

According to Sky Sports News, Depay was already placed at Borussia Dortmund last week. But he is not the type of player Borussia Dortmund is looking for and favours. Purely in terms of profile, more Modeste and less Depay is in demand. Can still come in by the 1st of September, but not at the moment.

The full quotes:
I told them lads, don’t talk to me about Africans anymore! I love them, but either they sign something confirming they’ll back out of playing the Africa Cup of Nations, or otherwise between that tournament, the World Cup qualifiers in South America, these players are never available! We are the idiots who pay salaries only to send them all over the world playing for others.

Basically, they shouldn't have any financial constraints via La Liga to register players. Now, their motivation is to establish their new wage structure and get Xavi the players that better suit his setup.

Julian Brandt was not in the BVB squad for the first competitive match of the season, and he is likely to have a hard time in the future as well. This is also due to the change of coach.

  • Juventus will go back in for Kostic.
    • West Ham's last offer of €15m + €5m was rejected.
  • Juventus have agreed on personal terms with Leandro Paredes.
    • PSG are asking for €15m.
  • Morata's the #1 option to reinforce Juventus's strike force.
    • Juventus will keep going until the end.

So, guessing the motivation now, is that they want to buy Bernardo Silva. Which is rather impossible with a total of 60 mill to cover transfer fee and wages.
It should not quite require a sale of FDJ i’d guess? Are a sale of Neto(others about to be/just completed?), and losing the wages of Braithwaite etc included in the tweet numbers?

The salary cap is calculated based on their financial projections. That may include sales/releases of not just their fringe players but also players like Dest, Memphis, and de Jong, possibly. If the actual finances aren't close to the projections, then that will affect their future wage cap, so they might need to move on de Jong regardless.

FCB is considering a new salary reduction for Gerard Piqué.

At the moment, the president and the board of directors are having dinner to discuss these figures.

Miralem is much closer to staying, the club wants him to continue

In addition to the player's desire to continue, Xavi wants him as well

  • Raspadori has told Sassuolo that he wants to leave.
  • Raspadori's potential to be a Juve player is tied to Moise Kean's future.
  • Sassuolo will hold on for a good offer.

There is still NO open negotiation between Sevilla and Lazio for Luis Alberto. Monchi and Julen Lopetegui want him, but at the moment they have other priorities: they need, above all, to sign a centre-back.

EDIT: More info
Álex Collado asks to leave to play.

The midfielder does not want to spend a year on the bench and spoke to Xavi to find out his intentions.

The coach was sincere and both agreed that he should leave this summer in search of minutes to show his potential.

There are several teams interested.

At Barça they are confident that a new destination will soon be found for him.

Although the idea is to leave on loan to return, a transfer is not ruled out if a good offer arrives that pleases both parties.

Work is being done to ensure that Pjanic can continue, but the Bosnian must wait. Whether he leaves or not, it won't affect Nico: the home-grown player will NOT go out on loan now.
Nico will continue at Barça, whatever happens with Pjanic.

Club and coaching staff are counting on him. His situation is not on the table.

In January, his role will be assessed and then he could leave on loan if he does not participate regularly.
