Gonzalo Villar's move to Monza fell through at the time of the signings. Berlusconi's club disappeared and never contacted him again. Now, Sampdoria are asking for a move and can close his signing in the next few hours.

Sanchez on leaving Inter:
Q: Goodbye to Inter?
Ask him (referring to Felicevich).

Q: Is it time to say goodbye?
No I'm quiet.

Q: How close are you to saying goodbye to Inter and how sorry are you?
I want to play.

Q: Do you still want to win? Always, it is always so. Hey amigo the lion is like that. I haven't decided yet.

Q: Did you expect something more?
More and more.

Q: Disappointed or still happy?
Happy.

Q: A message to the fans?
It's not early yet.

The salary cap is calculated based on their financial projections. That may include sales/releases of not just their fringe players but also players like Dest, Memphis, and de Jong, possibly. If the actual finances aren't close to the projections, then that will affect their future wage cap, so they might need to move on de Jong regardless.
Missed your reply from yesterday. Thank you for the clarification. With the premise that this is if everything goes like Barca wants it to, they are likely still in big problems.

  • Juventus offered a 2-year contract, but the player is not interested in the move.
  • Galatasaray are also interested.

The meeting will determine whether the transfer is feasible for Juventus i.e. whether they can overtake West Ham.

Regarding Kepa, no progress has been made. Reminder: there'll be a loan fee, and Chelsea will pay part of Kepa's wages.

  • Arthur has everything in place with Valencia and Juve would help with the fee: the initial idea is that he arrives on loan without an option to buy. The issue remains: either Maxi [Gomez] or Marcos André has to leave.
  • Omar Alderete: his priority is to play for Valencia.

Kimpembe will not leave PSG this summer.
If his future was uncertain for a while, international defender Presnel Kimpembe convinced the staff with his commitment and his state of mind. And expects himself [to stay] at PSG, which faces Clermont on Saturday during the first day of Ligue 1.

  • Juve's offer: €7m to €8m
  • Juve are willing to close the gap to what Frankfurt want.
  • Kostic wants to join Juventus and has already agreed on personal terms with them.

Thanks to @Adnan in the Frenkie de Jong thread:
With the 4th lever Barcelona still can't register all signings

The key is La Liga's criteria in the first two levers.
The first two levers involved Barcelona selling 25% of their TV rights:
  • Barcelona and Sixth Street created a subsidiary company called LOGKSLEY Investments S.L. (50/50 ownership)
  • Barcelona transfers ownership of 25% of its TV rights to this company permanently.
  • Sixth Street pays €517m for 25% of the TV rights for the next 25 years.
    • Barcelona pays €150m to acquire that percentage back from year 26 onwards.
    • Total: €667m
  • Barcelona then obtains €667m from LOGKSLEY.
  • What Barcelona tells La Liga: LOGKSLEY bought 25% of the TV rights for €667m
    • La Liga, however, only recognise the €517m from Sixth Street as new cash for Barcelona; they ignore the €150m that Barcelona include as part of the deal.
This can also potentially get them in trouble with UEFA's FFP rules if they aren't careful.

That Laporta image has meme potential with his hand sliding into the facepalm position. Where it should be.
