Plettenberg reports Gala's offer to Osimhen as €15m/year net.

Official: Gabri Veiga joins Porto from Al-Ahli, signing a contract until 2030

There must be serious question marks over his mentality if no other clubs are in for him. Because ability wise he is one of the best strikers in the world, yet no-one of any top tier repute seems to be after him. Not often a striker of his quality becomes available for such a relatively reasonable price. He can probably be bought for around 60m pounds.

Quality is fine. Demands on wages is not.

There were other clubs interested in Osimhen, but the total cost is too high for them. The wages that Osimhen's demanding's very high, and Napoli are still pushing for a high fee. I wouldn't expect the fee to drop down to £60m until near the end of the window.

If we didn't already have Ugarte, he wouldn't have been a bad option for the squad

We should we all over this regardless.

I prefer more ability with the ball to go along with the physicals, but sure I would not be totally against it. Would mean we need 2 CMs though, maybe him and Lamine Camara.
EDIT: He'll be 30 when the season starts too

I wanted him last Summer. But I'm a bit wary now as Bayern chased him through two windows but now want rid after one season? Bit weird no?

He came in hurt, so he wasn't able to get going with them at the start. By the time he came back, all of Kimmich, Pavlovic, and Goretzka were putting in good-enough performances that they didn't need to bring Palhinha in. With that said, they mainly brought him in because of the uncertain futures for both Kimmich and Goretzka, but since both of them are not only performing well enough but also willing to stay, they don't have much of a need for Palhinha outside of the added squad depth.

Official Gian Piero Gasperini is Roma's new head coach, and his replacement at Atalanta is former Southampton head coach Ivan Juric

He must have absurd wage demands for them to not agree personal terms.
United making top 5/CL football next season will take Sancho close to 350k per week. Plus a loyalty bonus on top of his farewell. Not an absurd demand from Osimhens entourage asking for parity. And some more dosh from Saudi club effectively end his career at the top.

The two players aren't related in any way though. Both play in different leagues and everyone knows Sancho's contract far exceeds the value he has previously demonstrated.

On Osimhen, a good year in the Turkish league won't be enough ask for ridiculous wages, even in Saudi. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they pay since they can.

Jealous of this one.

Think he’d have been perfect for us. Right winger/right wing back. Looked good for Marseille and contributed goals and assists.
