Nah it won’t, but we need something.. even if it’s just a DepayIt’ll not be a top striker that’s for sure
I’d take Depay right now, I even think he’d be a decent option at low value.Nah it won’t, but we need something.. even if it’s just a Depay
without one out top four chances seem impossible
we’d be relying on a miracle of martial staying fit and in form
from the Glazers perspective it’s a no brainer, it’s not their money and just more debt on the balance sheet, which won’t impact the valuation much if at all
6 month contract to get us through the rest of the season and with new owners. His wage will prevent the Glazers taking more money out of the club.
He's only 28, and if we can get him on a free and a short contract, he'd add some depth. But I'd agree that he'd be a pretty underwhelming signing - honestly, I'd rather of kept Cavani
Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Sesko and a goalkeeper who thrives under the style of play ten Hag is attempting to implent, would take us a long way towards making a realistic title challenge imo.
The thought of that midfield makes me very excited. What a way to start to day.Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Sesko and a goalkeeper who thrives under the style of play ten Hag is attempting to implent, would take us a long way towards making a realistic title challenge imo.
It would also give ten Hag the flexibility to field a team with a midfield 3 of high technical ability and work rate. It would be interesting to see a midfield 3 of either Casemiro or Caicedo as the DM with Enzo and Eriksen as the #8s operating in both half spaces on the left and right side.
I think that would make us a more versatile team and also one that is unpredictable to judge for the opposition, due to all three midfielders having the ability to play to a good level in both the defensive and middle thirds of the pitch. And hence we should in theory be able to exert control and sustain attacks in the opponents half.
