If Amad doesn't agree to a new long-term contract before the end of the year, then United will trigger a one-year extension to prevent him from leaving for free.
 
Tier 2:

  • Planning is already underway for January and summer 2025 though no incomings are expected for January unless they move on some of their players.
  • Vivell will continue working for the club after the initial short-term contract.
  • United want a young left back, preferably on a permanent deal
    • Kerkez and Alphonso Davies are two players of interest
  • United are also looking at young wingers
    • Ashworth was keen on Tyler Dibling when he was at Newcastle United
  • United are still interested in Sesko though the player prefers Arsenal
  • Possible outgoings: Casemiro, Eriksen, Lindelöf
    • United open to selling Antony for a good price
  • Contract renewals: Mainoo's first in line followed by Amad

All good stuff. I expect us to bring in at least one or two players in Jan even if we can’t sell.
 
Will we actually have any budget left to sign him in January?
