Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2024/25

Official: Ethan Ennis joins Doncaster Rovers on loan

Wonder how much his performance in the 3-3 match helped secure the loan. Can't remember the details - but as I recall, he had a decent game in addition to the goal he scored

That seems unlikely.

We bought players for close to £200 million and probably spent £15-20 millions to ETH, Newcastle and Sporting. But we also sold players for almost £100 million. First of all it doesn't seem likely that more or less everything we spent on transfers was taken from the credit line - but even if we did, the huge amount we got in should make sure that the credit line still should be fairly big
We will find out the truth soon enough

Raphinha is naturally right sided though isn’t he?

Having 4 good options would be great. I think being at Barca he’s gonna be less likely to cut a fuss if he’s on rotation
Raphinha has always been good either side.

I can't really imagine what Rashford would be like at Barcelona - only that his first month in Spain would probably be spent wondering if he was gonna be registered to play at all.

Well - I don't believe his story about Kuani for one. Why should we cool interest (if we are interested) because Spurs lead the way ? Spurs is one of few clubs that are in even bigger problems than us - they have a manager who could get sacked, lots of injuries, they will probably be behind us in the table after the next game....and they generally pay less than us. Would we struggle to attract Kolo Muani if we were up against Liverpool or Arsenal - maybe...but Spurs ?

Is the transfer plan just to sell everyone?
All these links to players out and Muani in on loan isn’t good reading…

Kuani :D:D

Think we are seeing Berrada’s influence here and with the Ashworth ousting. Wilcox worked with him at City and is being given more power and Ashworth was hired by Ratcliffe/Brialsford hire and just didn’t meld with the rest of the group. Berrada is employing and promoting people he trusts in Wilcox and Vivell

Hopefully we see some first team signings from Vivell soon. Would he have a history of finding gems from South America and Asia market?

Got a post deleted the other day because source apparently not good enough (fine)… yet we can still post Wheeler and Jamie Jackson because despite them being ABUs and posting absolute sh!te time and time again, they’re ok because they work for newspapers (awful ones).

Doesn't Wheeler get a lot right? I remember him being quite accurate.

I dont need to dig too far. If I take the last article about the transfer for Muani cooling, Ornstein echoed the same sentiment with additional context around wages being an issue.
He’s said the same as Ornstein? Cool.

I was more on about the months of pushing Jassim, the rubbish about Rashford and his Mainoo/Chelsea posts (as an “exclusive”).

He said it before Ornstein provided any context, so he's obviously not bullshit or made up.
