If Bruno leaves it’s for a champions league club to win bigger trophies. He doesn’t strike me as a player who wants to spend the few prime years left in the Saudi league.

She works for Sport Witness, who aggregate the news from local media outlets across the world (mainly Europe) and also provide occasional insights into those reports, often downplaying them if they can't be taken seriously.

They rarely provide their own exclusive news and bits, but when they do, they are often on the right track.

Or there are discussions and they're keeping it a secret until the season finishes for obvious reasons. When it comes to transfers most of the time it's the same drill - continuous denials and then deal done.
 
I swear I never see any truth with Ben Jacobs. Yet he’s tier 2 and constantly being quoted on here. Maybe it’s his glasses. Makes him look more reputable.

It has been mentioned many times, but our scouting dept have recommended loads of really good players over the years.
They are quite good at what they do. Problem is, the people up top, making the decisions have until now not been football people, at all. There’s been no vision, no overarching idea. It is hard for them to even know what they are looking for when they don`t know how it needs to work.

The players we have bought during the new regime, as i remember

Mathijs de ligt, 25yo, big strong defender in his prime. Strong in the air, good with the ball. Maybe our best defender?
Not crazy money, makes a load of sense.

Noussair Mazraoui 27, was worried by his injury record but has shown to be a very solid, consistent and versatile player.
Add that he cost us only €15m and you have one of the smartest transfers of the summer.

Manuel Ugarte 23, we needed a ballwinner in midfield so we went out and bought one of the best around at just that.

Joshua Zirkzee 23, we needed some muscles up front so we got this Zlatan light guy. Huge frame combined with quick feet and some decent vision and creativity.

Patrik Dorgu 20, young player thrown in at the deep end and has struggled a bit. But he is an interesting young player with a big frame, good engine and a decent cross on him. Needs some time to settle before we can start to judge him.

Ayden Heaven 18, very talented defender picked up for pocket change. Will need some time to settle as well but i feel he has most of the tools to become a very good player in the future.

All these player are at a good age, have somewhat sensible pricetags and wages, so if it doesn`t work out, we can sell them without too much problems. I think it is a stark contrast to the deals made by the previous regime.

Salah “failed” at Chelsea, so did De Bruyne.

He was a kid. Football development isn’t always linear. He’s a better player now - considerably so when compared to our main striker

I’m just joking, but I hope we find someone better or I’d stick with Hojlund and improve other areas myself.
 
Luis Ocompos was seen with Sir Alex Ferguson today at the Penunsula hotel in Paris. Maybe nothing special but well after the latest rumors it deserves to be known .

Didn't he fail to score (for Juve) last season in 20 games? Hojlund has done as badly for large parts of this one, but what has Kean produced in his career beyond an initial half-season flurry as a young player, a decentish season at PSG and then this hot-streak season with Fiorentina? Lowish scorer otherwise.
 
Been reading for a while that Amo really likes Mantanto and he is next in line to make a debut. Good to see that he has signed a new contract. I guess he'll make an appearance in one of the three remaining PL games.

Which will be his best position? As a RWB? Can he be our own version of Quenda?

Agree with the bolded, scouts know who's who and have full picture of the pool of players, our scouting network is very extensive, the selection though is up to the ones who make final decision, not the scouts, and under INEOS, it seems to have somewhat improved, based on the signings you listed, as of now, Vivell is in charge of recruitment, he will be responsible for recommending the best talent, then it will be up to Wilcox & Barrada as well as Amorim to decide who to go for, it is a lot clearer in simpler structure now.

You’re maybe thinking of JJ Gabriel? I haven’t heard anything of the sort with Mantato, although he too is very highly rated.

Højlund is no way near good enough. But to say Keane is miles better is overeating him quite alot. He is shite.
