Even given all the injuries I’d be a bit surprised given he was in his Europa League final lineup plan

Terrible source, but I'd have thought Shaw would be on the chopping bloke this summer, due to his wage, age and frankly appalling fitness. He can't be relied upon.

If there's one player we're definitely stuck with, this is the one. Nobody in their right mind is paying any money for Like Shaw.

No if shaw is open to dropping wages plenty of sides would be interested. He's a very good player, and if a lighter fixture load allowed even 25 games it would be worth it assuming United are happy to let go cheap

dropping wages :p

Maybe less games/pressure might help with his fitness?

He’s unhappy with missing out on CL football. Guy shouldn’t have made all them mistakes then. He’s the only goalkeeper to have ever played 3 European finals and lose them all.
This is a weird stick to beat him with. He reached those finals in the first place.

I really hope we go after the Espanyol keeper. Looks very solid and wouldn’t cost a shed load.

Shite source but if there’s any truth to it then that’s unbelievable. The fecking nerve on this cnut! He’s made howlers every other week since joining it seems, he was single handedly responsible for getting us dumped out of the CL in the group stages yet he’s the one that’s unhappy with the club for missing out on CL football. You couldn’t make it up, the fecking cheek of this prick!

Anyone that is upset with missing out on UCL or a wage cut should be booted out on their arse as a matter of principle.

One silver lining from missing out is the opportunity to reduce the ridiculous wage bill on dross, get them all gone.

Even his technique for the goal conceded in the final was bad, although that kind of cross generally seems to be an achilles heel with this side unless you've got De Ligt And Maguire in there (which then impacts us in other ways). If Saudi want him, even with the slight contraction in the Saudi market they should have no issues stumping up close to 30m minimum.

Nonsense. Is he worse than someone losing all their semifinals just because he lost in finals?

There are enough reasons to want him out without being silly like that
Ye all the keepers in the semi finals are probably better than him.

I really hope we don't go after a GK who's really fecking shite.
Hopefully. There’s 2 keepers I think we should target. Diogo Costa but he’ll be a bit pricy and the other one is Joan Garcia who shouldn’t be to expensive from Espanyol.

Feel like I remember that guy being a terrible source
Why would an Italian journalist know whether a PL player who has no links to Italy is in the plans of a manager who again has no links to Italy?

Also, irrespective of how reliable this guy is, I don't believe Amorim would want to get rid of Shaw because he started him in the EL final despite their being other options. If he was so anti-Shaw he wouldn't have started him.

I don't see us being able to move Shaw on, I cannot see anyone wanting to risk any of their budget on a player who is unavailable as much as he is.

Did someone explain to him that playing in Saudi league doesn't get you CL football.
Even though the story is probably bullshit, that isnt the point being made. It's saying he's upset not getting CL football because his money now drops.

Could be a record for the most players leaving in a single transfer window.
I certainly hope it is. We need this overhaul. Amorim might have a completely different first team if he is around for a couple more windows and with more youth being embedded in the first team.

Alice Talks Shite more like. Onana hasn't got a wage cut kicking in as he wasn't playing CL football this season. He'll be on the same money next season as he is now.

Not sure what tier this guy is

Personally I'm not too fussed what happens with him. I believe he'll have one more year left on his contract - if he stays fit, he can be a useful player but we absolutely should not see him as a dependable player. It was criminal from the club to go into his season with Shaw and Malacia as LB options.

Let's see whether we get a decent offer for him. His injury problems will put off pretty much every club.
