Slightly dramatic, he was better than the other youth players today
He was terrible. 3 of the goals directly came from him not having a clue what was happening around him.

I think this is a fair assessment, knew what he was doing, but physically couldn't keep up.My thoughts too. He looks like a good technical player with decent positional sense. He just didn't have the strength or the savvy to compete with their muscle.
That’s extremely harsh. He was hung out to dry over and over again with multiple men to mark. That was the sort of performance that kills a career in its tracks. All over the place positionally and didnt have a clue where his man was. He'll be lucky to get any more minutes here after that.
For both the second and third goal he was abandoned by the rest of his teammates and was literally trying to deal with three Brentford attackers all by himself while the other defenders and midfielders didn't cover anybody. Other than maybe being more vocal to demand teammates to come help him deal with the overload, not sure what he could really have done differently there. He was terrible. 3 of the goals directly came from him not having a clue what was happening around him.

The fourth was more his fault, where that time it was him pushing up out of position which created the huge opening the goalscorer ran into.
What's your definition of marking somebody? Both situations he's marking nobody and getting nowhere near the ball. Never mind what his teammates did. He was lost out there.

The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. For some reason we think we can just play kids and they will play like seasoned Premiership pros. Mainoo, Garnacho, Fredricken, Hojlund. Half the CAF expects Heaven and Amass to be a starter. And on and on. The kids that come in and can do that are very rare - the Rooneys etc. Yoro looks to be a rare one. All these kids need a loan and time to develop or in the case of Garnacho, Hojlund etc who are more seasoned need to be second to a more experienced player

On the second goal he's about a metre from Mbeumo (who was the middle of the three attackers) when the cross was played. He then tried to back-peddle to get his head on the ball, but Schade gets the jump on him from behind. In fact from the eight (nine if we include De Ligt on the ground) Utd players around the box at the time the cross is made, he's literally the only one who is covering somebody.
On the third goal he's about a metre from Wissa (who is the nearest post of the three attackers) but the cross goes over his head to Schade. Once again, bar Amass and Eriksen (who were both trying to block the crosser) Fredricson is the only player near the box who is trying to cover somebody while everybody else is just in empty space.
