Surely that's more down to his injury/surgery than than the value of his fee.

He's had some bad injuries, he looked like he had a lot of potential his first season, but missed a full year of development. He looked like a shadow of his former self the last few times I seen him play

It was evident from his cameos post injury he lost a significant amount of pace which is quite problematic for a full back.
I’m sure he could find a club but he’s probably lurking for a good option.
De Gea took a year off between United and Fiorentina, and Sancho is still without a club, and he’s not recovering from a significant injury.

Hopefully Malacia’s injury wasn’t that severe and he can still have a good career at a good level.

He probably needs to significantly lower his expectations. He would be lucky to get 10% of what we paid him at United.

He’s the sort of player that gets picked up right at the end of the window, when clubs have exhausted all other option or injuries dictate they just need a body.
