Berbaclass
Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
Hopefully this gets done!
Fair analysis. Will be a nominal fee this one as you say (last year of contract, was out for well over a year, not looked great since he got back and surplus to requirements). Main thing is to get him off the books permanently and hopefully he can make the most of a fresh start elsewhere.Malacia will be gone come September, probably permanently for a nominal fee. Hope he does well. Probably never really good enough, but injuries hampered him. Always grafted though.
Farioli tries to thwart Roma in battle for Malacia
Can’t see it personally. I think it will be a few million less than what we paid given how the last two years have gone for him.Probably make a small profit on him.
I mean on the books. We should make a profit. Can’t see it personally. I think it will be a few million less than what we paid given how the last two years have gone for him.
I think those bastards Betis will get Antony on another loan, but I’m not sure about Sancho. feck knows where he goes — every team who has shown interest he has rejected. All of the Bomb squad will be gone by september - I am not too worried about that. What I am worried about is they leaving so late - that we can't spend in time before the window closes
Ah got you.I mean on the books. We should make a profit.
He did get that bad surgery against the advise of the club though.I’ve always thought it was harsh he was part of the ‘bomb squad’. His issue was some very bad injury followed by equally very bad surgery and recovery, which has seemingly lead to his career being handicapped.
Wasn't the rumour that he sought medical advice from his own doctors rather than club doctors which exacerbated the injury?I’ve always thought it was harsh he was part of the ‘bomb squad’. Yep Laurie Whitwell mentioned that in a Q&A on the Athletic this week actually. He went outside the club for treatment. Didn’t even know players doing that would be a thing.Wasn't the rumour that he sought medical advice from his own doctors rather than club doctors which exacerbated the injury?
Either way, he's nowhere near good enough so I'm glad he won't be playing for us again.
In hindsight he set us back 5 years. So many duds.Unbelievable these ETH signings, he literally saddled us with a squad of second rate players.
I wish it was as simple as injuries hampering him. He chose to get surgery done with his own doctor and it went wrong and had to go back under the knife mid way through rehab.Malacia will be gone come September, probably permanently for a nominal fee. Hope he does well. Probably never really good enough, but injuries hampered him. Always grafted though.
Buy Sancho @Roma and we will throw this guy in for free
YesIs it too much to ask for 10m?
You can take out that zero and it would still be too much.Is it too much to ask for 10m?
You could take out the 'm' and it would still be too much. You can take out that zero and it would still be too much.
He struggled mentally cause he brought this on himself. He wouldn’t have missed so much time if he went with the clubs suggestions. You could take out the 'm' and it would still be too much.
Didn't I read somewhere that Malacia had struggled mentally with the period out injured? And this was more the reason why he was out for so long, rather than the injury itself... I have no light to shed on this at all, mind.
Either way, he should be gone by Sep and won't be playing for United again.
Hear hear. This kid doesn't appear to have done anything wrong to be spoken ill of.Can we stop referring to him as part of the bomb squad? He’s done nothing wrong to warrant being talked about in the same way. He hasn’t been able to assert himself on the team but in fairness he’s had a horrible injury
Didn’t he make it worse by going with his personal doc rather than a club recommended physician to treat said injury? Can we stop referring to him as part of the bomb squad? He’s done nothing wrong to warrant being talked about in the same way. He hasn’t been able to assert himself on the team but in fairness he’s had a horrible injury
To be fair this is a hindsight is 20/20 kind of statement. He struggled mentally cause he brought this on himself. He wouldn’t have missed so much time if he went with the clubs suggestions.
Come on man. The club always has their players best interests at heart. They are basically assets. Why would you not go for a recommended physician by the club? They have been doing this years and have more data and how to treat injuries than you or your physician. To be fair this is a hindsight is 20/20 kind of statement.
Yeah we don’t actually know that for a fact, our medical team has been awful over the yearsHe struggled mentally cause he brought this on himself. He wouldn’t have missed so much time if he went with the clubs suggestions.
He made a bad choice sure but does that warrant being lambasted?Didn’t he make it worse by going with his personal doc rather than a club recommended physician to treat said injury?
