Tyrell Malacia | Manchester United player | Is in the 25/26 squad

Come on man. The club always has their players best interests at heart. They are basically assets. Why would you not go for a recommended physician by the club? They have been doing this years and have more data and how to treat injuries than you or your physician.
Every surgery carries risk. There isn't a huge guarantee that one surgeon will do a better job than another.

Well these things happen, explain the Tuanzebe saga that's going on.

Probably make a small profit on him.
Eh, not sure. Given he's on £70k a week or something I think we'll have to give him a payoff bonus from the transfer fee. He's not good enough to earn that salary (as the teams interested reflect).

I think we'll be just breaking even really, while getting his wages off the books.

I think we bought him for around 12m.
We will do well if we could sell him for maybe 5m?

Absolutely agree it’s not 100% guarantee but you play with numbers. The club doctor would have seen more of these injuries and would have done more surgeries hence may have a better recovery method. Just by our numbers and data it’s not a contest in my opinion.

Well sure I’m not saying it’s a guarantee but one lawsuit over the years with the 100s of players we’ve helped treat with their injuries says we have earned more of a leeway and trust. One player out of 100 we got wrong? I like those odds.

Can we use him to boost Casemiro's stamina and fitness? Like in those video games. Man that'd be sweet.

Been anymore news on him? 75k a week!
£75k/w might be a small wage for a club like Man Utd but it's huge for many clubs and for most who'd be interested in Malacia. He makes 2 or 3 times what the best paid players earn at clubs who qualified for European competitions (or came close to it), like Rayo Vallecano, Mainz or Lens.
I think he can find a buyer but his wages limit the amount of clubs who could be interested to the tier of Roma/Marseille/Villareal and I'm not sure he's good enough for them (even though Roma seemed interested but the noise has died down).

Yeah. Thing is, you'd expect United would just pay off the difference in that case. So is there no deal to be had if we can sell him for a couple million pounds, he signs a new contract at £30k a week or whatever his fair market value is, and we give him the transfer fee to buy out his last year? That would still save us his wages, and get him locked up on a new deal. The only the things I can think of for why this isn't happening:

1. No one's even willing to give him so much as £30k a week until they see more for him. This would make it hard to do a deal
2. He's still holding out hope for some wage similar to his current one. Which is super super unlikely, and would make it basically impossible to sell him (probably this is what's killing a Sancho transfer)

I don't think he's even that bad. Seemed promising to me. No idea what he's worth in the market.

He was ok before the injury. He struggled after coming back from injury. If someone offers £2-3m take it and run. What a waste of £15m for him. We even beat someone else to him last minute. fecking Ten Hag.

Tyrell Malacia could be leaving for La Liga. Elche are pulling out all the stops to get the Manchester United left-back to Spain. The loan deal must be finalized by Friday. The Dutchman appears to be letting Lille go, but Man Utd is currently resisting the offer.

Spanish side Elche offers Tyrell Malacia the chance to get a leg up in a major league with plenty of playing time. The club appears to be edging out Lille and AS Roma, given the prospects outlined.

Our club just 8snt capable of selling any players, we can only do loan deals where most of the benefit is to the player and recepient club. But thats where we are and its not going to change anytime soon.

He was injured for ages, had a bad loan spell and is available on a free transfer in the summer. Very little chance of anyone wanting to pay a decent fee for him.

When it rains, it loans.

A loan move that's great. Felt like we were selling too many players.

:lol::lol::lol:

He’s definitely difficult to sell despite the fee maybe dirt cheap. Too long an injury and it seems like for him to get back to a decent level it would be in other league and take more than one season.

I guess we just want to save on his wage.

Very likely correct I’d say. He’s out of contract next summer so guess we’re trying to get and save what we can and he’ll be released at the end of the season.

So, I guess we won't get anything for him another. Another waste of money.
No one is paying a fee for him. From our perspective he’s not on massive wages, but high for the type of club that might be interested, he’s a massive risk for any buying club. Barely played for years, and I’m sure lots of cheaper options are available.

Didn't he get many minutes on loan last season?

Ten Hag needs to go to jail for this transfer alone.

Last game before the injury, he wasn't a dud. Would have been a decent and cheap back up option.
