Haven't read the article but if he means the screaming and rolling around element of dark arts, he's probably right. The European refs respond to that hugely.

If he means "going in 'aaaard" then that's just a red card in waiting.

Funnily enough I've regularly thought that about Ireland. It's like we haven't learned how to really 'earn' frees. I remember we played Poland and apart from Lewa bring the best player on the pitch he was by far the biggest fanny on it too and it was infuriating how many frees they won from selling it while our players were too honest. Now we definitely have our divers and England clearly do too but sometimes I get the impression that teams like that never really learned to exploit it like those on the continent.
