Frustrating that the U18 games aren't shown live if the first team have an early kick off. Hopefully we are lucky this time and an LFCTV stream will show it?

Nothing happened in the first 12 or so mins - really windy making it hard for the players

Liverpool really Close to taking the lead on 2 occations. Glatzel just missing a low cross before Mengi and Thompson combine to save a ball on the line

Bernard once again showing what a poor defender he is by converting a low cross into his own net - completely under no pressure. It was a hard cross - but he is standing with his face to the goal - you just don't do that.

Greenwood should score - does everything right and through on goal he could slot it home or set up Elanga but blasts is horribly over from 18 yards

Not good from Mason there. Should have at least got it on target or layed it off.

Greenwood through again - shoots just wide of the far post from an acute angle

Nearly from Mason. Drove forward and got off a shot, but went just wide.

We are not getting Ramazani and Elanga properly into the game - but after the Liverpool-game it's been all-United

Hopefully the conditions blow into Anfield later today. Klopp wouldn't fancy this wind.

Yup - but quite a few of the others havent. Ramazani, Elanga, Traore not been their usual selves - while we have looked a bit shaky defensively
What else is new?

I can't actually watch the game this morning, how are we doing?

Out of curiosity - anyone got the stats of our other attacking players ? I have a feeling that if we remove Greenwood - our attackers/wingers haven't scored a lot of goals

It's a kind of game where we really shouldn't be behind. Greenwood has not been clinical - Elanga and Ramazani have been largely Anonymous (the latter just substituted for Mellor). Bernard with a stupid owngoal - and Garner bossing the midfield.

Williams through on goal - but keeper saves. Good play by Mellor in the build-up

We’ve had a lot like that this season, cheers for the update.

I feel like Williams is probably our 2nd top scorer

Not quite, Laird's output was absolutely insane, even more insane to think he's been injured for 2 months.

Good game, United dominant but just couldn't break down a well organized Liverpool. Greenwood had a great chance to win the game right at the death but couldn't find the back of the net.Mengi and Bernard at centre back are forming a nice partnership.

That is a nice thing to say when one of the defenders scored an owngoal and got sent off. Mengi could be a decent defender with a bit more experience, but Bernard...?

Someone on youtube made an interesting suggestion with Traore. Don't you think given his qualities, could be a decent RB? Traore can bomb forward with pace. He would be a decent passer for the position given that he has started off as a midfielder. And he has really good feet which lets him keep the ball in tight areas, which is where he'll be operating at in the wings and there isn't much space there in comparison to the center.
