We have tickets booked from London to Scotland in August when the proposed rail strikes are. Is it worth sticking out to see how the July talks go or should we try change the date?

I would be surprised if anything changes, I would look to change the date.
The RMT aren't interested in compromise and the government wants to crush them. I wouldn't be hopeful of an agreement being reached.
