I am joined by Colm @Duafc and Jamie @Vault Dweller to bask in a superb derby win away at City.
As well as chewing over the finer points of a great performance; the lightning start, the assured second half display and the welcome surprise of a rare Shaw strike, there's time to discuss Dean Henderson's great opportunity to make an impact on Ole's first team plans.
Then we look ahead at a crunch month of fixtures continuing with AC Milan and West Ham before asking what would constitute a successful season?

2nd and 6 points behind City or 4th and a cup? Give me 4th and that cup every time...

@Rood ... what if it was second and 3 points behind City, or scrape 4th and two cups?

Thing is that we have won cups recently (LvG FA Cup and sacked on the way home, Jose won Europa and was gone the year after) but we havent had a title challenge since Fergie left and we could have had one this season but probably needed to sacrifice at least one cup with a lot of rotation to keep players fresh for the league matches.

I do still have a general disdain for the Europa League as well - would be a different story if we were still in the Champions League

As to the question - obvious winning 2 cups would feel like a much better season, but it's a question of consistency which is vital to acheive the ultimate goal of another PL title. Plus that thing of nothing having finished top4 twice in a row since SAF

My biggest worry is Ole trying to go for everything and ending up with nothing - like I said I dont think this squad is ready to fight on 3 or 4 fronts and and that is compounded by Ole's lack of rotation and overplaying players.

Nah, i always listen to episodes once you release one. When driving my phone switches Spotify on and then a random episode gets played. So i end up listening to old episodes...which is fun as as sometimes with the benefit of hindsight you can tell who was right, who was not.

Do you remember your two-footed lunge at one of the lads after us beating Red Bull 5-0? Guess he wasn't that wrong in the end ;)

Ye that was with the now banned @DavidG but my view is completely unchanged from that rant - he had the common complaint about Ole having no tactics which I think has been completely disproved with wins over pretty much all the big name managers
