United Kits 26/27

I think I prefer the white collar. If anything make it black. Just not red. Doesn’t suit us.

It's time for a kit manufacturer change surely? Is our current deal with Adidas since 2015 the longest we've ever had?

I would say Adidas has only got our home kit right once in that time and that was their very first effort which had the home and away kits as a homage to our kits they made in the late 80s.

Those lines on the sleeves are far too thick as well.

Not even close.

Going into next season will just match the last time we had an Adidas kit deal (1980-1992), and the Nike deal was a year longer (2002-2015). However, Umbro made our kits for 30 years (1945-1975).

Every. God damn. Year.

If there's one thing we can all agree on surely it's that football kits get worse each year.
Blagged at this. Next year’s is minimalist, almost retro, yet this years looks like a Spider-Man knock off, and the one before that with the fecking orange that faded to a darker red? Shocking stuff

That feels like I'm being directly quoted

Who at Adidas thought it would be a good idea to mess with their stripes?

Black collar and maybe arm-band trim and it could be decent.

The gigantic stripes on the forearms look ridiculous.

First kit ever where the shortsleeve will look better than the longsleeve??

I doubt we'll ever see the day when we have a Kappa or Hummel kit sadly. Adidas and Nike are too big not to outbid anyone else, there is Puma I guess but their kits are just dire.

The stripes are an Adidas template, every team next year has it and the World cup kits are the same. Not much you can do about that.

I do think this shade of red is too light though...

I despise them but Liverpool had an amazing kit this year, a classic. This should have been ours, but it got ruined someway somehow. The pre-leaks looked a lot better.

Think adidas have 'shot their bolt' with our kits and we should find a new manufacturer.

Too many nostalgic entries, ubiquitous blue, and white which isn't white.

Suppose it doesn't matter so much and their money helps, but we haven't had a proper kit in ages.

Looks a hell of a lot better in short-sleeve form. I like it.

The guys arm in the long sleeve looks like Quagmires after he discovers the internet.

You missed out ‘When are are lads back in training’

As usual, we think it's mid.

We'll have one or two new players, have a win or two, and then it will be a banger.

Otherwise, if it's a bad season, it will be a s**t shirt.

The stripes on the collar aren't as big as I had thought, it's not terrible

Never been a fan of a collar but I much prefer a plain red shirt compared to the dark gradient and patterns we've had the last two seasons. It's pretty cromulent. Not sure why adidas think the bold shoulder stripes makes a good template but there's not much anyone can do about that.
