Isn't it a universal thing not to have such a busy shirt... It's a really nice kit but would have been much nicer with the logos on the left and right.
Also fair play to Snapdragon for adapting their colours to match the kit.
They’ve been some horrendous looking kits released for the forthcoming season, with Adidas being responsible for supplying around a third of the new shirts in the EPL.
Our new kit isn’t likely to win any awards but on seeing Newcastles new home strip, I realised we’d got off lightly.

Think im in the minority but im not a fan of the red stripes on the blue kit. Had they been white this would've been tremendous
The new Bayern Away and Real Madrid Away are pretty nice.
It's the alignment of the Adidas logo and badge. If it was normal that shirt is 10/10.

Just got the away kit and it's absolutely beautiful. Best away kit by Adidas so far, and probably the best one since the 07/08 away.

Just realized this morning when I put my black away shirt on from last season, that the ugly sleeve sponsor is not on the new shirts like it was last season.

Couldn’t agree more. Could have been a cracking kit with white stripes on the sleeve instead it looks a crap diadora Rangers effort from the noughties.
There was a decent article in the Athletic recently saying the obsession with the retro market is holding back the evolution of football kits.
Not sure I agree completely with that but it’s definitely worth considering. You can identify most decades by the kits the teams are wearing when watching old games but now it seems to be stuck in some kind of throwback when it comes to kits but by trying to blend the modern with retro designs it just comes across as being neither one or the other.
Why don’t Adidas or Nike say we are doing a tribute kit to what we think Man United or whoever will be wearing in 30 years’ time rather than giving us a slightly crap version of what we have seen already?
Probably because in reality there are very few things you can do with a football kit that has to maintain several basic elements of the club's identity, but you also need to make a new one every year, and make sure it's somehow noticeaby different to the previous one. It's inevitable you end up in a cycle. We've had something like 17 home kits since we last won the Champions League. It's too many. So we get lots of tributes and remakes.
Any idea on the new one?
Paying tribute to a future event doesn't make much sense though.

They know it popped off on the socials, they're pushing it quite hard now. So I imagine sooner.
We aways wear red at Craven Cottage.
League wise, probably Hull as we would wear our away shirt v Wolves away.
I believe we wore the white away kit 6 times last season and the black one 5 times.
We will likely wear this seasons away/third less in the league as three teams we clash with went down (Wolves, WHU and Burnley) and only Hull came up that we kind of clash with.

I would assume they do it because nostalgia sells. Probably why the black/yellow/blue third kit (a nod to 95 and famously Cantona's kick) was so popular.
Its a strange one as a football kit should be easy to design, but the modern day kit designer lacks the right imagination. They'd rather see United turn out in a shirt with a chevron or tartan pattern because it gets people talking how shite it looks, giving them more exposure.

The new third kit isn't too bad but the centre looks a bit busy with everything down the middle on top of each other, could have done with putting the Adidas logo on the sleeves instead, like the 84-86 kit but I guess that's never going to happen anymore.
I often find it surprising Adidas don't have the confidence to let the three stripes on the sleeves essentially be all the logo they need.

It's not bad but the blue kit is the best by far this season. Blue away and third black kit last year are 2 of the best kits we've had in years.
