"decisive action" by anyone in charge of this club is a recipe for disaster.

All of it is empty talk until there is sustained improvement in performance and results.

Get a move on then. Can't remember other big clubs having to constantly justify their bad times as regularly as us.

All the big clubs are decisive. Most have already sorted out a few key signings. Get a move on.

The replies here baffle me. Arnold was answering a question at the forum. What would you lot have preferred he said?

Id argue the club is being decisive with all the changes and departures on and off field.

The proof is always in the pudding of course but what more do you want?

Don't talk about it, actually do it
He was at a fans forum so he was there to talk about it...if he didn’t show up or refused to answer those questions then imagine the backlash.

In all fairness, this guy has not put a foot wrong yet. Let’s give him a bit of breathing space along with the new gaffer.

Meanwhile Bayern have signed two players already after winning the Bundesliga.

What happened to quietly going about your business? We're a shareholder club through and through now, that's all these statements are for.

It was at the fans forum where he’s asked questions. Tough not to talk at those events.

You both miss the point

Good our CEO recognizes the challenges ahead and is working hard to fix things, as we can see with the changes happening around the club in the last few months.

I'm supper excited for next season and i hope things workout well now we all realise we aren't the United we once were, now we are actually trying to fix the problem by share planning and hiring people with some sort of know how to do the job rather than throwing money at it Ed Woodward style.

Bayern are a settled club, these moves were in the pipeline for months. At that time we did not even know who was going to be manager and the type of players he would want.

He has been relentless so far and has definitely been taking decisive action. A lot of fans are short sighted and see only players ins/outs as an indicator of how the club is run.

We are going through the biggest backroom change since Moyes kicked everyone out, and many players are due to leave.

The only thing missing is that we need to sign players, and the summer is long.

All well and good.
But what is the plan to make this happen.
Key strategies.
Business plan deployment that is flown down from top to bottom. With everybody in the club all on the same page and everyone's objectives aligned with the plan.
Because without something like that, how is it going to happen?

If relentless, than sell Rashford and the rest of the mutineers this summer to send a message.

Also, prioritise football and make everything, including social media etc subsidiary. Players’ marketing reach / image rights need to not be a factor in who gets signed or retained.

ETH needs full support too. If there is any type of media strategy it should be focused on ensuring the management is supported 100% in the public eye. The leaks and shit regarding players and what they want should be targeted. Jesse Lingard needs a hefty and very public fine before he leaves for his actions. Pogba too.

I'm a bit concerned that he fired a lot of people and yet to make any appointments. Obviously I don't understand how would that impact our summer planning but here's hoping it won't.

We should reserve our judgement until the transfer window closed. If they are really committed to transform us then this window will see us spending big. We really need reinforcement in all area defence, midfield and striker.

Spurs committed 150mil for transfers, Chelsea new onwer also committed to spend big, City already made big signing in Haaland. This is the season for us to show our intent.

We'll start next season with mcfred in the midfield.

Blowhard talk until we actually see evidence of change. We've sat through nearly ten years of this shit Richard.

Agree. The clearout was always going to take time, a number are going anyway, some could be retrievable with better coaching and fitness regime. They have seemed rudderless. Now hopefully that will change. He will get some players in he wants, hope some adapt and look at the kids. A good pre-season for a change will help as well. Getting a manager who has hopefully not reached his peak yet is great as well. I want us to sign players that are the same. Ambitious, who want to improve even more.

Yea. I agree with this. Arnold can’t go on the pitch and play Roy of the Rovers , but we can see the changes already in Rangnick ( as consultant) , ETH and the new coaching staff. I’d argue they have been pretty decisive so far. Obviously there’s a shitload of things to be done, but the signs so far are surely promising….
