You guys know he's on holiday right? All the Nazis who comment on the Daily Heil were foaming at the mouth.

I doubt we are going to make any sort of announcement until he’s back with the squad. We will probably present him officially ahead of the Everton game where he might get a few minutes.
We have never done this for any player that I can remember. Doubt we start now

The club are out to gain marketing impressions. They are milking the kit launch… then when people quite liking/retweeting that content they will fire off new content like Sancho signing. They want to be the focus and in the news as much as possible. IMO has nothing to do with Jadon on holiday. Likely Monday and all next week will be jadon and his interview… but his shirt… etc.

What we need is a good sponsorship deal to be announced to really get the juices flowing.

Transfer window 2009
Best one was the summer of 2007 when Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves were all announced out of nowhere. Tevez was announced too somewhere around that time.

Good Times man, everyone calling him Teveth.

Summer 2007, a vintage year for the muppets.

Never done what? I’m not talking about a full stadium presentation, just something like this:
Why not? Go full Madrid, £15 per ticket, pack out the Stretford End.
Get Sancho doing some skills and kick ups for 20 minutes, end it with him shouting "Fook off Citeh" into a mic.

Wait, do they actually charge fans to attend those muppet shows? I always thought those were free.

Didn't Teveth take ages?

It was announced early that he was joining us, but we spent ages sorting out the documentation etc in order for the deal to be approved

most painful transfer window ever
Valencia was a very shrewd move. We got two fantastic seasons on the right wing and plenty more steady seasons with him at right back.

Obertan was Obertan.

At least we got a couple of goals out of Owen.

It was painfull because they were the replacement for Ronaldo when we thought we were getting Sneijder and Robben.

we sold Ronaldo and lost teves and then signed Obertan Owen and Valencia all while missing out on robben and benzema and sniejder .That was an absolute nightmare of a window no matter how steady Valencia was

Is the club delaying the announcement because they are concerned about the online abuse and the recent memory of the missed penalty or trying to find a shirt number and thinking of a marketing angle around it?

I can’t believe people are forgetting that Mame Biram Diouf signed during that period too.

Surprised people care so much about an announcement. Really wanted Sancho at United but once we agreed the deal, it was about other getting other targets in.

Sancho is a Manchester United player and a delayed announcement wont change that. In fact didnt ManUtd twitter announce that we have reached an agreement like a week ago? save your stamina for Varane and the players signed after him. Still a long way to go.

The worst part…. It was the same window we sold Cristiano.

i mean… seriously ?
The window we sold Cristiano we could have bought Snjieder and Robben, both who were on their way out of Madrid.

It still didn't matter in terms of challenging, we were 2 points off winning the title and were very unlucky in our CL exit.

Our spending including this summer in the last couple of years is likey to reach 400m and there are still major doubts whether this team is able to challenge for major titles.

Exactly….even Valencia who was the best of that bunch was still mediocre and we’d sold Ronaldo to pay off Glazer debt.
