So, in the past we had a girls team structure run by the MU Foundation that used to operate teams up to 16 - our U16s won their League last year. This year we were also running what was effectively an U19 team - that got into the final of the Academy Cup, but they weren't in a proper league.
Next season with the women in WSL1, we'll also be running an official U21 Academy complete with support for continuing education and we're announcing trials for it.
Don't be too misled by the "open trials" headline - it's aimed at players who were in a RTC (regional talent centre) or who are already playing women's football at FAWNL level or better.
