United women on international duty 2024 | October squads

Nice to see Millie back in the squad.

I'm not sure when Gabby George won her last cap, but that's a nice reward for how good a start she's made for us this season and how well she's recovered from her ACL injury.

November 2018.

Fantastic to see Gabby George called up. I have to say, I have been increasingly frustrated with Wiegman playing players out of position at both full back spots when there are perfectly good specialist left and right backs throughout the league.

Emma Watson is in the Scotland squad to face Finland in the EURO 2025 playoffs.

SMP, Hayley Ladd and Mared Griffiths are in the Welsh squad.

Ouch. Poor Maya. I wonder when that happened.

Heard she got it during Skinner’s post-match huddle talk.

Seriously though, I hope she recovers well. Pleased that players are taken care of and these things are noticed.

Lucy Newell captained England U19s as they opened their EURO qualifying campaign with a 2-1 win over Turkey. Next match is against Italy on Saturday.

Sandberg started and assisted a goal for Sweden U23s as they beat Portugal 4-0. England next on Monday.

15 minutes for Bizet in Norway’s 4-0 win against Northern Ireland.
Ladd played the full match against for Wales against Ireland. Match ended 1-1

Emma Watson came on for Martha Thomas for Scotland against Finland after an hour. That's goalless with about ten minutes to play.

90 minutes for Riviere and 66 for Awujo as Canada and Iceland draw 0-0.

Wales U19 captain Olivia Francis scored again as they defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-1. Wales won all three EURO qualifiers in Round 1 and topped their group. This also meant that they promoted back to League A.

Gabby George, Millie Turner, Maya Le Tissier and Grace Clinton all featured for England tonight in a 1-0 friendly win against Switzerland. All four were in the starting line up, Millie at the heart of defence, Maya and Gabby at right and left wing back respectively (Maya oddly wearing number 8 according to the BBC!), and Grace scoring the only goal from her usual advanced midfield position.

In the meantime, Wales qualify for the Euros for the first time ever! Beating Ireland away in Dublin, Hayley Ladd featuring at centre half and the winning goal coming from former Red Carrie Jones! Looking forward to the inevitable England-Wales group match up come the tournament next summer!
