Key words in that post ‘might’ and ‘like’

I’d be amazed if Utd sign Wharton.
 
With Cunha and Mbuembo coming in I still think we should have selling Bruno and getting baleba or Wharton in. Every transfer window it always seems like we are still short a couple of players.
 
Realistically can only see an Ndidi, Rios, Douglas Luiz coming in. Wharton, Baleba , Ederson only happens if we get big money on player sales looking which looks unlikely right now.

I would have a lot of confidence in everything if we did that. Would have shown someone really is making professional decisions.

Yes. Unfortunately, we didn't push for this enormous tap-in by cashing in on Bruno, with him stating multiple times that he'll leave if the club doesn't want him. Instead we are looking to cramp a right sided forward into central attacking midfield (it seems) and dropping Bruno into a midfield two. Absolutely bonkers.
 
I'm pretty relaxed about our midfield situation. Much more manageable schedule so fatigue won't be an issue. Casemiro, Ugarte, Bruno and Mainoo as a group of 4 will be fine for the year. Fix the 3 in front and a lot changes in midfield too. Especially if we manage to get a settled group where we aren't chopping and changing every week.

Main worry is really Mainoo just not getting enough game time without European football and Bruno full time CM.
