Is this going to be a cock up or actually good?
Government appointee overseeing a private entity? Doubt if it changes anything other than more $$ for lobbyists. EFL will gain the most imo.
Its Britain's biggest soft-power tool, why should they want to change things too much?

His point about government fecking up anything they get involved with is fair.

This whole thing does scream PR / look were one of you. It all means nothing if ticket prices are still high anyway (saying that Brentford froze their tickets which basically comes to as 23 per game)
