Martial, I'd say.
Maybe, but £60 million kind of defeats the point of it being considered that kind of signing.
Hernandez was £7million right? Absolute steal.

Maybe £30million now is £7million back in 2010 though - given how prices have sky rocketed.

Are there any young players around with a style similar to Busquets? Good touch, close control, doesn't take too many touches, shifts the ball quickly.

£7m is just over £9m now. So a great bargain Hernandez was. Gone are those days though.

Sancho value now would have been about £75m ten years back.

Ronaldo in 2009 selling for £80m would be about £108m today.

Apologies for sending you this boring reply

Not good enough, needs to make a mark at Valencia first. Very surprising to see him linked with a club with our kind of profile, its far more realistic that he takes a sideways or downward step from Valencia

Don't! It's interesting. Incredible really. Even back, had Ronaldo been sold for £108million - in hindsight - still a bargain for Madrid.

But yeah - it's extremely difficult to find any kind of "value" transfer at the moment.

Ye he played in the Pt league last season and his exhibition against us caught my eye. He's not the most mobile player but very solid defending from deep either as a CB or a DM.
Not very mobile. Just what we need

DM is more important to me than CB this window, would love for us to be after a Matic coverer/replacement.

Ever since I first heard of him this morning, I’ve always thought he’s the exact player we need

Tonali but he's unobtainable, I can't think of many others right now.

In my FIFA 19 Valencia career mode he became a world class Carrick / Matic type

Sign him up

He had a superb season at Famalicão, very good player.

I’d be surprised if he made the jump to a club like United right away though
Good to know, thanks. I am sure we will check up on him through Bruno (he must have played in a matchup against him in a match or two).

If this is true, we really seem to be trying to bring through another midfielder - first inquired for Thiago, then Romero confirmed that we bid for a fellow who went to AC Milan instead and now him. Ole really wants to stack up there, isn't it!

Could be a Fernandinho type of player to play with two attacking midfielders sort of like City did it few years back.

And if he does, his price goes through the roof and we can all enjoy the bitching on here from people about 'why didn't we buy him when he only cost £..?!?'.
Ah the circle of 'Caf life:D

But does he have the potential to do so in future and what position he currently excels in and can he replace Matic in the long run.

£90m buyout clause! What does that even mean? The buyout clause bears no relation to his value. Valencia signed this guy for £2m 2 years ago. Then loaned him out in the Spanish 2nd division. Next year loaned him in Liga NOS (Portuguese tier-1). He played well last season, indicating he may now be worth as much as £10m at most. £10m would be a 500% profit on their investment, for zero risk. £28m is a 1400% profit after 2 years. He's played about 1 match for Valencia. Also: they already recuperated their capital outlay of £2m in loan fees.

Compare the money they want to the €30m Barcelona just paid for Memphis Depay.

We all love United
From the video he seems to like deliberately getting himself in between two or three players so that he could perform the pirouette, probably the only thing he is good at and even that doesn't always come off, bearing in mind i only watched the first 45 seconds of it

I’ve long been an admirer of his and tracked his progress since I first started following him way back a few minutes ago. I remember when I couldn’t figure out how to correctly pronounce his name. Good times.

It’s again such a nothing story. We’re “interested” in signing him. We will never hear of this again from this day forward.
