The current quality in Conmebol is mediocre though, they sure could qualify if Conmebol and Concacaf are mixed.
Peru doesn't have any quality, and they made it to play-offs two times in a row, with a bit of luck...but they did it.
Plus Conmebol qualifiers are gonna even more mediocre for the next WC...7 slots for 10 teams.
