Not just that, if that was Arsenal scoring, they wouldn't even bother checking anything.

No one is denying it was a foul.. the annoyance is Arsenal have done similar stuff to opposition goalkeepers all season and gotten away with it.
Was it this season at start of season we did really well against arsenal but they scored from a set piece where bayindir was fairly manhandled to stop him reaching the ball?

What a time to apply the rules. The absolute irony.
They have to lay down the law on where they stand as far as shoving and pushing goes. While it has always been part of the game, their players completely grab the opposition players when defending their own box. Just look at visual of Rice on that corner. That's a foul anywhere on the pitch. I remember when Chris Smalling would do that for us, and he gave away a penalty plenty times.

You have literally won this title doing that. It's not the decision, it's the fact you've done this since game week one with impunity.
This wasn't a foul though... One of a number of occisions this season where when it's an Arsenal player it's fine

I think with the Bayindir situation it was foul on Mount as well. Long time ago so maybe I'm wrong.
A couple of thoughts from me on this.
I'm still in favour of VAR however, I do feel that the use of it needs a major adjustment. It shouldn't be used for every decision/incident as it just takes away from the game and nobody is really implimenting the "clear and obvious" side of things. I'd be in favour of it being used as a set number of "video" reviews that a team can use in a game, just like it's used in other sports. Want to challenge a decision, sure thing, but you can only do it x amount of times per game, and the clear structure of that leads into my next point.
The standards of reffing. VAR has caused the standards to slip as they all know things will get checked, so rather than risk making a mistake, they just go with it and VAR will sort it out. We get rid of that element, the standards will improve again. I expect mistakes to be made as they are only human doing a tricky job as it is, VAR, which was meant to make things easier for them, has just made it harder for them in the long run. I'd much rather return to having that human error from the refs element, rather than having a video gone over in super slow mo for 5 mins to prove a fingernail was offside, or caused a handball.

Which the same thing Varsenal have been doing to keepers all season.
Not saying any of other situations were as clear as this foul on Raya, but they were still fouls. I'm quite annoyed with this situations as we conceded multiple goals over the years because referees ignored fouls on de Gea and Bayindir (possibly Onana on some occasion).
Last two seasons show why United won't win the league anytime soon.
