Hojlund on Rodri springs to mind.
According to BBC they said "not sustained holding and no impact on the play". It is just amazing what kind of stupidity they can come up with."VAR's chec...check complete"
Review seemed to be over before they even started.

Webb is sabotaging VAR by making the video ref incapable of intervening in any meaningful way. That foul on Guehi not being given is a joke.
For me TAA’s holding of Chalobah is worse as he’s got two hands gripping him as he grapples him around and it’s Chalobah who actually strikes the ball and makes a hash of it because of TAA’s interference. TAA never once competes for the ball either. That foul on Guehi not being given is a joke.
Trent has two arms on the first Palace player (who manages to flick a foot at it), then VD uses two hands to pull Guehi back… and VAR says that’s fine.
… but Bruno’s heel tapping Maddison halfway up his shin is a red.
And Webb will hide behind “high threshold for overturns this season”.
What’s Di Maria’s Angel done now?Who is this wanker? Bellend of the highest order.
This. They’re not even hiding their hatred for us.Dear referees,
I appreciate we ruined your childhoods, but you are being paid to do a professional job so put on your big boy pants and get over it.
He’s a scouser. It’s either conscious or unconscious bias. Not bent, just pure incompetence and the definition of a homer.
This fecking space cadet reffing our game is something else.
Ah shit, didn’t realise! Bent bastard thenHe’s a scouser. It’s either conscious or unconscious bias.
If you’re not allowed to referee Liverpool matches you should not be allowed to referee their rivals.https://www.sportingnews.com/uk/foo...-who-do-they-support/d917d020dfeb65d34a865498
We don't know who Robert Jones supports but we do know where he is from. He is not able to officiate Liverpool matches....
I've said it before but I have a conspiracy they implement these nonsense year-to-year micro adjustments to interpretations of IFAB's rules to limit the discourse around showing their inconsistency. They use it, as per your example, to stop us comparing Rodri's dive last season resulting in a penalty with van Disney pulling over a player to prevent a goalscoring opportunity not resulting in a penalty/ref card.Trent has two arms on the first Palace player (who manages to flick a foot at it), then VD uses two hands to pull Guehi back… and VAR says that’s fine.

van Disney isn't even the best defender in that replay. That's a terrible decision, but when you're the best defender ever, you'll get away with things like that.
How Mainoo ends up getting booked for this is amazing. At worst, it’s a full blooded 50/50…Barkley should’ve seen red for that high challenge on Evans, commentators just brushed over it, if it was Bruno or Casemiro they’d have replayed it a hundred times by now.
Rashford should have had a second yellow here
That free kick decision is an insight into this prick's mind
