No talk of the stamp or the kick, but all the moaning about the wall.
As it should have been, the ball came off someones head from a couple of yards away and hit him, you'd need reactions like the speed of light to get out of the way of that!It was checked and cleared
It also came off his own head down into his hand, obviously not intentional or hand seeking the ball.As it should have been, the ball came off someones head from a couple of yards away and hit him, you'd need reactions like the speed of light to get out of the way of that!
Well they can then take a look at the wall being 12 yards back when Arsenal had a free kick as well. Taylor obviously has a hard time getting the distance correct. And the Premier League admitted Taylor got the wall wrong that time, not a peep from the media though.
Watch the media cnuts spend all week talking about this.
We know how people treat us. Nothing is surprising. And the Premier League admitted Taylor got the wall wrong that time, not a peep from the media though.

These are the incidents I’m referring to:No mention of Merino’s stamp on Garnacho? Or Partey’s studs first tackle within the first five minutes?
The one we conceded against palace last season I think the wall was about 15 yards away.People are really whining about an extra yard distance on a wall for a free kick?
Christ. I finally understand what snowflake means.

Think it was Villa wasn’t it? The wall was in another postcode! The one we conceded against palace last season I think the wall was about 15 yards away.
10% tolerance isn’t that bad.
Was very surprised merino’s stamp wasn’t even looked at. Seemed obvious to me he’d just tried to hurt him.

11 minutes of Ref watch show and all they've talked about is the distance of our wall, whilst trying to convince us that Dermot paced out 10 yards when there was a feckin line marked on the floor.

Never seen so much bullshit about a yard.
Raya should have saved it, it was at least a yard inside the post, that's the yard they should be focusing on.
You're right about his positioning. It was at a savable height too.
Besides the law says the wall has to be at a minimum of 10 yards, which it was. If they measured every wall in every game there's no way they're all exactly 10 yards. They hardly bother calibrating the distances regularly with the refs to ensure accuracy.

Ah yeah that was it, remember thinking he couldn’t possibly score from there. The Palace one was when the freekick was taken at least 5 yards away from where the foul happened.
I actually think something similar happened yesterday. Bruno had to take the kick at least 5 yards further out than where Garnacho was fouled.
Remember Football Italia A on C4 or Serie A anyway, used to have the circle on the TV showing the 10 yards of the wall. It's never going to be exactly 10 yards unless the ref has a 10 yard length of twine in his pockets to put down.
Just saw the Joao Pedro penalty, if that's a penalty then I don't see how Hojlund doesn't also get one yesterday, gets to the ball first qnd he gets taken out from behind as he's shooting.
I haven't seen the Pedro one but which Hojlund incident? The only incident, from memory, that comes close to what you're describing was where his touch could have been better, he seemed to think he had more time, and that allowed Rice to get in to take the ball.
That one definitely wasn't a penalty and I didn't see anyone calling for a United penalty yesterday.

Nah the one where Hojlund got played to the near post by Collyer. Gabriel drags him back by the shoulders and goes through the back of him as he shoots.
I was going to mention that too but forgot once I'd gone searching for the replay.
I couldn't find a replay of that one but I don't think there was a lot in it. Hojlund gets the shot away and Gabriel blocks it. I didn't see a foul there.
He's started grabbing him back from the penalty spot when he was making the run, then goes through the back of him when he's taking the shot to make his block.
Not many will see it as a penalty, but when you see what Liverpool got penalties for and what was denied in other games. On another day, it could be given.

For sure. Haven’t been able to find the footage but I was fuming during the match as the incidents looked just as bad live IMO.tbh this frames sometimes can be misleading
I can’t see one from the replay. Not sure how they’ve made that call from seeing that. Was it a double kick? I'm still not convinced
