Not been Lindelofs biggest fan but he was pretty good today. It’s still time for him to move on though but fair play to him on that performance.

Lindelof was pissing me the feck off in the first half. So physically weak, so pathetic in duels, aerially meek.

Second half he was a lot better, but looking forward to him leaving in May.
One instance sums him up - when he didn’t have the instinct to head the ball and let it bounce, giving the Arsenal player potential to win the ball. Looked like Lindelof then fouled him, but we got lucky.

Did ok, but CCB is quite easy in this system and the way we play.

Time for him to go (well, the time was 6 years ago …).

Good game today. I suspect our system is a better with him in the team rather than Maguire and De Ligt who are too similar and lack pace - this has been noted by a few people recently.

Lindy brings qualities that at least allow us to pass the ball out from the back, similar to Martinez only less effective.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this but I blame the c*** (redacted by myself/insert your own insult here) for Heaven's injury. The latter and de Ligt was bailing out the coward all game. Part of the reason why Heaven challenged for that far post cross was because Lindelof didn't apply any pressure and backed off from that initial ball.

Weird how we play him as the ccb considering he's the worst we have in terms of duels. Was largely poor but will probably be needed a lot with Heavens injury

I thought he was dreadful today, manhandled in duels, weak in the air, and hid rather than supported his teammates.

Really bad at reading the flight of the ball, which is probably the most important thing in that central position of the 3.

He should do better but that's partially on Amorim. De Ligt should have been in the middle.

That's as poor as I've seen him. Very disappointing considering he was very much the senior figure back there today. No substance to him at all today.

I have told myself I wouldn't get at Lindelof because there's nothing new to say about him. However, its a genuine head scratcher that he's been at Man Utd for as long as he has. A complete nothing player. Whenever the ball is in the air or played in behind him he melts. When they said we'd signed the iceman I wasn't thinking it'd be because he can't stand any kind of heat. Gotta go.

Name the player…..A defender who….

1. Hates making tackles
2. Isnt physical and loses nearly all duels
3. Doesn’t have any real pace
4. Tries not to head the ball
5. Has terrible positional sense
6. Relies on his team to bail him out constantly

How does a player like this earn so much money?

Terrible performance, no suprise he does better in Europe. League is too physical for him and he's an absolute light weight for his stature

He's not a rock at the back. More like a pebble that gets kicked about when kids pretend it's a football or when they get thrown at a window. Ironically, this would presume that he has some useful value.

Amongst a sea of good performances, Lindelof stood out as being poor. He's just way too passive. Sometimes it pays not to be too rash and over-commit but Lindelof goes way, way too far the other way.

Awful awful awful. It’s not often that I actively dislike United players but Lindelöf is an exception. Weak, slow and passive. Everything a United player shouldn’t be.

Ruben needs to promote one of the youngsters to get his minutes. Lindelof was dreadful yet again. Hopefully Yoro and Harry returning gets him out of the squad. Guy offers nothing.

He's a wimp. Absolutely mind blowing that such a shit defender has been at a club like United for so long.

The fact he’s been here 8 years is absolutely insane.

It was clear after his first season he was nowhere near good enough. 8 years later and he’s still here.

If one player sums up the post Fergie recruitment and retention it’s this guy. Absolutely scammed himself a United career.

Absolutely awful. So weak, unathletic and poor with the ball to boot. That one moment where the ball was in the air between our 18 yard box and the halfway line and he didn't even bother to challenge their mid for it was pathetic. Get out.

No fan of Lindelof but #3, #5 and even #6 are not true. His biggest issue is the lack of aggression in his game, you could see Vardy fancied himself against him. Anyway, off he goes..

3 is absolutely true. He's got no real pace. I'd also say that 6 is true given that he's a passenger most games and does a lot of hiding.

I was texting my friend and I was giving out about Lindelof and he just said forget about him he's gone at the end of the season etc. But I just can't stop complaining about him. He is such a coward, losing nearly every high ball, getting pushed over, withdrawing backwards etc. I will not miss him genuinely wonder what scout saw him as a Manchester United player
