Al Hilal are building some kind of alternate realty United out of players we've been linked with over the years.

Bruno, Osimhen, Neves, Milinkovic-Savic, Malcom, Bounou, Koulibaly... They just need Gaitan, De Jong and a couple of defenders for an XI.

I don't think so. Osimhen was already a target along with Bruno, they are saying they want 3 players signed for the Club World Cup with Osimhen as the new striker and Bruno as the 10.

Also trying to sign Inzaghi as Manager. The story was they had 200M committed to signings in this June mini window.

Damn! The idea of him ahead of Mbuemo and Cunha was mouthwatering. I hope we rinse them for every penny in any potential Bruno deal. Although from their point of view, Bruno supplying Osimhen is a cheat code, scary prospect for other teams.

Would rather Gyokeres over Osihmen to be honest. Lower fees, lower wages, knows the manager/system, harder worker and doesn’t down tools. Sure Osihmen is a better finisher maybe but he will be distraction if he joined us.

Its one thing for Bruno to go in his 30's but this waster has just given up his career. At 25 wastes one season in Turkey and then retires in Saudi. Its sad even if the money is ridiculous
 
What a waste of a career. I’d have love to see him in the prem aswell even if it was at a rival team.
 
Good luck to him. Gyokeres is the best available option for us now.

I think that was clear months ago, hence United moving for Delap. There's nothing to suggest that Osimhen or Gyökeres are targets for United this summer - now that Delap is joining Chelsea, I'd expect United to pivot to a different #9 target, but it won't be one who costs more than twice as much as Delap!
 
When there is such a lack of quality CFs around this is such a waste. Good for him though family is more than set for life. Hope to see him in the PL in 3 years maybe
 
Al-Hilal have an average attendance comparable to a medium sized championship club. And they're one of the best supported teams in the league.

What a waste.

It's hard to imagine somebody playing 3 years of Saudi football and then being ready to come to the Prem aged 29.

It's a career ender imo.
 
Waste of talent. He has the physicality to handle the EPL yet will play shite football for 3 years. Probably end up in the Portuguese league when he returns

As if top level footballers have to move to Saudi to be ‘more’ set for life.

Look after your 2-300k a week over here and I’m sure you’d be alreet.

Romano has said Gyokeres has always been the dream target for us but the fact we failed to secure CL football probably shelved those plans. We probably assumed other clubs in a better position than us would be in for him as well but that doesn’t seem to be the case, not yet anyway. I think now Delap has gone to Chelsea the idea of Gyokeres is back on the table, especially if Bruno goes and we can sell Garnacho and a few others.

He's been earning 250k/week for 3 years now... He can keep earning that or a little less for the next five years while playing in Europe.
