Victor Osimhen

Not sure why the clamour for this guy.
He is always chasing the money and doesn't seem interested in much else.
The sort of player we can do without,
oh and he's not really that good either.

Just feel he has an aura about him

I don’t think so but perhaps the player thinks so
It is confortably in the European top 10 over the last 3 years.

Possible to chant this to the tune of "She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain"

We need a striker. Desperately. Osimhen has a £63m release clause. We should be in there like a shot.

Goalscoring record can't be argued with. Has the stats that Hojlund never had and he is bloody cheaper in terms of fee. No brainer.

Goalscoring record of less than 20 goals a season in all but 1 of his seasons in a top 5 league and wants a salary that would put him ahead of Bruno as our top earner. Its a no brainer, just not in the way you suggest.

Suddenly there are two amazing strikers available. Which one would you pick?

Theres something about Osimhen. He has that ‘bit of a bastard’ about him - in a potentially good way.

Him and Cunha in the same team, we certainly wouldnt be bullied like we were this season with Hojlund and Mount/Garnacho.

Doesn’t seem possible given the wages on offer elsewhere. It’s a shame because I think he’s the best available.

Osimhen for me.
I prefer Gyokeres because of his familiarity with the system and the manager. Seems financially viable as well.

Tbh I haven’t any of these much so I don’t even who is better technically. But its hard to drop Gyokeres given the season he has had

Surely with the commercial power of United a deal including image rights could match what he’s earning?

At this point Napoli will accept far lower than that release clause. Especially if the Saudi bid falls through.

Osimhen priortize a team in Europe. He has even told Galatasaray board that he would like to wait and see his other options in Europe before he takes a decision with Galatasaray. In normal circumstances he would never consider Galatasaray but last 12 months he has been treated like a God in Türkiye by fans and the team

Always injured, always in trouble... Even though he is probably the most talented striker we can semi realisticly sign, we should probably stay clear.

he’s going to be a crazy salary that we’re getting away from, it wouldn’t be a good idea.
