Reading this article;

“The championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, today belongs to racists.”

These words were posted by Vinicius Junior on social media after another shocking and deeply saddening episode in the story of Spanish football’s racism problem on Sunday night.

The impact of what happened at Valencia, and Vinicius Jr’s long-held frustration over how authorities have approached tackling the subject, now leaves Real Madrid’s star player with doubts over his future at the club because he does not feel supported. He feels it is a battle he has been left to take on alone.

Imagine he will have a long list of suitors but perhaps only one or two teams can afford him.
  • Italian teams? No budget.
  • Bayern? Not for me.
  • Barca? Wouldn't go across to a major rival in the same league with the racism issues.
  • PSG? Perhaps a Mbappe replacement.
  • UK teams? I think he lands here should he leave in all honesty and there is only a couple, including us who would be able to afford him.
 
I think he'd have a lot of suitors if he left.

He'd be a good Rashford replacement if he doesn't renew his contract.

Bayern could go for him as their attack is actually quite mediocre now
 
Wouldn't expect him to leave, but with 1 year left on his contract, never say never, eh?
 
It would be a sad situation if the treatment he received in Spain meant he had to leave, but if anyone was able to take him off Madrid they'd be getting one hell of a player.

Unfortunately if he came to England I think it'd be City. We already have Rashford and Garnacho in his position, then you're probably only looking at City and Chelsea - and why on earth would he want to go to Chelsea?!
 
Media: Real will soon announce the contract extension for Vinicius valid until June 2027, also the player wants to stay and fight racism in Spain together with Real Madrid.

No chance he is leaving, probably fishing for big numbers as Real will pony up whatever he wants, he is their future.
 
Of course he won't leave. RM are top of almost every players list for their dream club. He will be their biggest players in the next few years. Its a great place to live, he gets paid a fortune, guaranteed CL every season.

Well, depends, do you enjoy being racially abused or do you enjoy playing in Spain.

I'd leave if I was him, then relish getting to knock them out of the UCL.

As good as he is, never happening... For better or worse (better imo), United don't replace players like Rashford or block talents like Garnacho. Doing something like getting Vini in of course would improve us but it firmly fecks Rashford and Garnacho both short and long term. We aren't that type of club.
 
If he is available, should we go for him?

Apparently he is among top 3-5 player from the new generation (behind Haaland and Mbappe), opportunity of signing such quality is rare.

But then we already have Rashford and Garnacho.

Totally understand if he has enough of this shit and wants to move on. The league, the referees, the hostility and racism…At a certain point it is too much. Even his teammates are letting him down on the pitch. Especially the senior players. Embarrassing.

The UK ain’t perfect or anything, but he wouldn’t have to deal with all of this. Expect him to stay, but he deserves none of this and totally support his decision if he wants to leave.
 
Think it'd be worth looking into if there's even any hint of him potentially being sick of Spain and wanting out.

He's been the best winger in the world the last 2 years and keeps getting better each season. He'd be a true superstar in the Premier League and wouldn't need to deal with the incessant harassment and disgusting abuse on a weekly basis.

Can’t see it with Rashford and Garnacho on the left. He might be better but is he 100m better when we are already stacked with huge quality there.
I see him going to Bayern anyway. Can’t see why he would take a step down to scousers or an unknown in Newcastle

If he was to leave (which he won't) I'd reckon psg would be the most likely option.

Not taking Vini because you have Rashford or Garnacho is really weird.
 
In the category of "if you can, do everything to get them" for me.

That said, loads of reports that he's already signed his contract extension. Expect this to be yesterdays news before too long unfortunately.
