Vinicius Junior - Future Might be Away from Madrid

I’m not in the business of calling people “smooth brained” for deigning to disagree with me…

Never happened. I said the reasoning in reading A and getting D out of it is smooth-brained.

Much like the post(s) I replied to posited that because I hold what the players at Madrid show publicly in higher esteem than posts by distant observers on a forum means that next I’ll tell people they need to go to Iceland to surmise it’s cold over there.

Thats how conversations are had.

Much like I don’t keep track of everything Vinicius does or says. I don’t keep track of everything you post on Redcafe. I asked you to substantiate your claims, in our conversation, which you haven’t done. I don’t know what infringements or incidents you keep alluding to. I did however, say that the notion of Vinicius breaking the dressing room isn’t supported by the public shows of unity from Real Madrid players, as well as quotes from his manager.

I have not said that Vinicius is incapable of having toxic traits or breaking a dressing room. I said that what’s coming from the people involved at Real Madrid holds more weight than your posts alluding at stuff.

Me: substantiate your claims, please. This is what’s coming from Madrid
You: disregard that. Do you not think what he’s done is fractious?
Me: substantiate your claims. I hold what the people involved are saying and showing publicly at a higher esteem than vague allusions by random posters on redcafe
You: so you don’t know what-
Me: what the feck??

I substantiated my claims before you made your post. You said redcafe posts weren't substantiated.

Maybe read the posts before you make generic statements.

Turning down a contract is fine. But it's good you made this example because the public statement he gave about ambition didn't sit well with our club and the dressing room at the time. It was actually a problem for the players and completely unhelpful
.

Wait, why was I quoted? I never said this.

So I had a range of quotes I wanted to reply to, some from the Mainoo threads making a funny post about a viral Pakistan clip

I clicked the multi quote reply and it carried over some posts, clearly I deleted the wrong ones!

My post was generic because it addressed more that just your claim, and wasn’t a direct quotation:

“Vinicius is an egotistical twat that got the last manager sacked because he didn’t want to work hard. Would break our dressing room.

You decided to respond, and I proceeded to ask you to substantiate your claims. Seems pretty straight forward.

Was at the game last night, and he is certainly top drawer talent. Just glides past players at will. Espanyol could not stop him in a fair way, he got fouled so many times it is surprising no one picked up a second yellow.
Both goals were class and he was part of almost all quality stuff Real had in attack. Would be very surprised if Real lets him go in the summer.

The only thing stopping people being on board with this is the money it would cost. I'm not sure why being a shithouse is an issue, we have plenty of them. I've not seen anything to suggest he causes big disruption in changing rooms, unless I'm missing something obvious?

And it was substantiated. Go and educate yourself on the full records, instead of working on his game to adapt to being a team player he chose to be a chronic dick and openly moan to the manager in front of all the fans. Then he openly said he wanted to leave. Then he got told to apologize for effectively being an egotistical twat. It's pretty straight forward.

It's also pretty straight forward that a stock instagram post doesnt undo any of these events but go figure.

I couldn't tolerate his blatant cheating with diving all over the box, trying to con the referee into giving penalties constantly.

It's an embarrassing way to win football matches. We shouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Obviously Vinicius was more flamboyant with it as he's a far more fiery personality, but is this really much different from the Mainoo situation? Manager thinks he needs to do more to fit his style, player disagrees, wants to leave, etc. Just seems like he didn't get on with the manager, I didn't see this with Ancelotti, from what I remember.

That's valid, he is extremely theatrical.

I do wonder who would buy him. He's a handful, on and off the pitch.

But an awesome talent.
I saw a post stating something along the lines of: "No club in the world would sign Mbappé. All the clubs, including PSG, Bayern, City and so on would sign Vini".

I laughed. No club in their right mind would sign Vini. His ability is second to none, no other LW can match his devastating best. But he is just too much too handle. And the one place that can perhaps get him to behave from time to time is probably Madrid because he feels connected to the city and team.

Vini reminds me a fair bit of Ribéry. Also a total bellend but he was our bellend. He got away with things at Bayern (as does Vini in Madrid) that no other player gets away with. If Vini left for say PSG we would soon hear a story or two about weekly clashes.

Mbappé on the other hand might have a flaw that isn't necessarily a flaw. My view is that he is simply bad at office politics. At Bayern if there was no Kane for example (as in there is no need at the moment) the whole team would be built around him and anyone with an opinion would be shown the door. He would score 50+ a year and have close to zero issues, Bayern is used to catering to guys like Mbappe who only wants to win and break records.

We need an absolute bastard of a cnut in our team to get under the skin of the opposition. For that alone I'd welcome him with open arms.

Jorge Picon (AS contributor):

Beyond whatever relationship he has with Vinicius (my information is that it's not bad at all), the dressing room has it clear: Vini never shirks, while Kylian does.”

The cost and attitude is what puts me off
