Vinicius Junior

Quality control
"I know you're getting called a monkey and hearing monkey noises and insults by hundreds of people every game but please react the way i like"

Oh, I get it now. Whatever he does, however vile and crazy he reacts, it is totally justified, no one has the right to call him out for his unhinged behaviour, because the reaction to racism allows everything, including what he does.
Referees that send him off should be called racists, too, yes?

You forgot to type “I’m not racist but”

I've never seen a player receive as much hate as he does.
Despite that, he's become one of the best players in the world, which speaks volumes about his mental strength.
What he's achieved with Madrid is incredible—multiple Champions League titles, scoring in both finals, three La Liga titles, and essentially every club trophy possible. At any other club, he'd be considered a legend, but at Real Madrid, the standards are just different.
I also like how he reacts during games. Sometimes, you wish he'd just focus on playing, but at the same time, you can't let players or fans bully you without standing your ground.

Yeah I hate really fast paced skilful players who can pass and shoot
Wasn't having a go at you (or him) to be fair. Just can't say he's someone I'd tune in to watch unlike Mbappe would be. Some great moments in last year's CL though.

Would love him here. Think he’d destroy the Premier League with all his pace.

Vini it's not easy, to play the card of always the victim it's not true either.
He has last focus and more than just standing his ground, he has been playing with a double edge sword.
Also Vini never was a player that didn't taunt, didn't talk, ect. nothing wrong with that, it's part of the game and some players like Vini also need some extra fuel, yet he has to calm down, if you constantly fight fire with fire or even at times you are the one that it's starting the fire, you'll be in trouble more than you like. I don't know at this point how he'll get away from this circle and to make it worse the yellow press loves this stuff because it brings them a lot of clicks.

PD: Neymar got a lot more hate than he deserved, still receives it. Alves for moments too, yet he was clever on how to difuse it.

Instead of addressing the issue you chose to insult and smear me.

The time when calling everyone a racist worked out doesn't work any more. Once you call everyone that disagrees with your radical worldview a racist, it lost all it's power. It's not even an insult anymore, it is obvious you're trying to smear the other person because you have nothing else to say.

Trying to attack the ref was crazy, but his issues run way deeper than that. Just look for "Vinicius loses control" on YT and see what type of player Vini really is. Unhinged and idiotic. He doesn't deserve the racial abuse, obviously. Any other abuse is earned.

Trying to justify any of it is disturbing.

If you’re going to be a racist, you’re going to be called a racist. It’s calling a spade a spade.

To be clear, being called a racist is still an insult.

No one is being a racist, except inside your head. So what you call a spade isn't one.

To be clear, that depends on who is saying that. If a leftist-extremist is throwing that around, it just means that your opinion differs from his. Therefore it has become meaningless.

Ffs 'leftist extremist'?! Elon, is that you...?

The irony where you say that and then refer to a person calling you out as a " 'leftist extremist'.

Didn't take long at all

Vinicius is extremely talented but I'd imagine he winds up his team mates always going for glory in situations he could've passed.

For someone whose strength supposedly lie in the offensive side of the game 61 goals and 35 assists in 200 league games is quite underwhelming.

Lewandowski has scored 67 and assisted 17 in just 98 games in La Liga, and his Bundesliga stats are way more impressive.

I really don't see a Ballon d'or quality player in Vinicius.

Vinicius and Mbappe don't really work together, which isn't too surprising.

He's been very poor lately.

Zero confidence in him pulling anything off whenever I watch him nowadays. Huge dip in form.

He didn't deserve it last year, imagine having the Real Madrid PR industrial complex behind you and you still can't convince enough journalists to vote for you. The fact then they started saying Carvajal should win the Ballon d'Or by the logic of Rodri winning it showed they felt like they were entitled to have anybody pick up the award automatically for winning the Champions League, rather than being the best player.

The world really is bobbins. Players going from fraud to world class (or vice versa) with 1 performance/1 strike of the ball etc.

It's tiresome.
I wrote my post based on his 200 games in La Liga.

Yeah, that was always the risk signing Mbappe and now it's seemingly nullified Bellingham's strengths as well.

Bellingham was never getting to play that role again, but what is worse is the team is scoring less than last season overall.

Not everything should just be based entirely off G/A stats, IMO. He just came second in the last Balon d'Or awards and was arguably unlucky to lose out. So there's definitely a Balon d'Or worthy player in there, as has been proven. But again, those awards depend so many variables, it's not really worth debating.

But I definitely think he's having a worse season/regressed from last season, and whether or not that is due to Mbappe, and/or other factors, I have no idea.

Wasn't he sort of playing in a classic 10/support striker role behind Joselu last year? Apologies, bud, don't watch you much outside of the UCL games. Why has he been moved deeper this season or in your words "he was never going to play that role again"? I'm just asking as i have no idea. He just seems much more effective closer to goal - so essentially more of a 10 than an 8 or so.

You're comparing a striker to a winger. And Vinicius was a young player and not an automatic starter for many of these games.

He's been very poor this season, no doubt.

Well, with Mbappe in, somebody has to play defense, it's not like Vini is particularly hard working most of the time either.

Bellingham was playing as something of a 2nd striker/number 10 yes, no place for that in the team now, so he will just have to play CM now.

Gotcha bud. Yeah, the Mbappe signing has really made it a nightmare for most managers to come in and balance things out.

There will be some crazy takes based on those who just put this match on today but he genuinely has been way below his best this season. And its not really surprising he and Mbappe don't play very well together.
