Another weekend without a win, so it’s hardly surprising.

They play Arsenal next so hopefully there will be a new manager bounce.

Deeney two days ago: "We sacked managers 2-3 years ago. We don't do it anymore"

Unsurprising, they have a habit of doing this.

Despite their start now and end to last season, I think it's a strange decision.

They want to bring back Quique Sanches Flores apparently.

well, they hadn't changed manager for at least 20 minutes so it was well overdue...

Watford are an odd mix of having a strategic and forward thinking approach to team building and sacking the manager whenever the wind blows in the wrong direction

It's why they're still in this league.

A lot of clubs wait until the situation is critical i'm guessing out of gratitude for what they done previously but with Watford it's no messing about, as soon as the decline/stagnation starts their out and in my opinion that's the correct way, Brighton another club benefiting from making that tough call before it was too late (they were bankers for relegation had Hughton stayed).

Under soil heating.
Didn't he guide them to their best ever Premier League finish last season? Plus the Cup Final but they were never going to win that.

It was coming but I do feel sorry for him.
The ruthless approach of the club does seem to work though.
Everton fans on Twitter were laughing at them, is there a rivalry between them?

Marco Silva was sacked by Watford and then joined Everton.

In Italy, Zamparini at Palermo used to sack a lot of managers. It didn't end well...

Ok now I'm confused, feels like this has already happened before.

IIRC Watford had a good half a season under Flores last time (like not far from top 4 good) before completely collapsing in the second half hence his dismissal.

Maybe Watford are banking on another fast start.

I thought Gracia had been a good appointment, granted they had a questionable start this season but feel he deserved more time. I think he would have kept them up relatively easily as they have a decent squad.

Far far too early but this is what Watford do and they haven't sacked a manager for two years so basically 20 years compared to other clubs.

Quique I thought did a good job for them in 15/16 and was surprised when he was ditched end of that season considering Mazzari didn't adapt at all to premier league. Still his record since is unspectacular and tough start with Arsenal and Man. City and Wolves away their first three games.
