There is no contact between the players, there are 3 different replays. Its a yellow card for diving on Madrid player if anything. Its not even a foul by Janssen. it not a free kick to Madrid even! I thought they were checking for a red card for simulation on the Madrid player at first!

VAR should be blamed more than the ref, they had no business calling the ref to the monitor. We know how easily refs get pressurised when they have to rewatch their initial decisions.

Not in the replays I have watched. Its perfectly possible to get that injury without contact! Calling it a reckless foul is a proper joke! On the replayes the ref looked at it certainly was not clear there was any contact.

Again the main problem with our play in the first half was that we only scored once. We had chances but didn't take them.
