The squad is paper thin with the injuries, that has blown away any chance of us winning this tie, nevertheless we played well for the 1st half, fatigue was always going to catch up with us.
I’m glad we gave Bayern a scare. I was hoping for a shock comeback but was honestly expecting to lose this comfortably.

2nd half we were dominated as you would have expected when Bayern are at home when the tie was announced. Bayern's dominance and our poor balls up to Malard and lack of attacking threat led to set piece after set piece and Bayern scored from them eventually
I'm a bit concerned for the summer, I think it'll be another good news bad news one like last year and at least this year the good news came out on top.

Good first half hour from us. Decent first half overall in fact.
We got worn down in the second half and ultimately lost on corners in the last 15 minutes.
I don't think anyone will be surprised. We all knew our injuries list and we all knew how many hard games we've had in the past fortnight.
Ultimately though, you can't let a good opponent spend as much time in your penalty area as we did in the second half.

Played too deep second half probably due to fatigue. I wanted to see subs made earlier whoever was available on the bench.
Very enjoyable European adventure but probably going further than quarters was always just beyond this squad.
