Riviere, Park, George and Le Tissier have been fantastic tonight.
Our 2nd goal was awesome! I was in the middle of an online meeting and cheered like crazy

Credit to George and Middleton-Patel as stand ins who didnt look out of place and put in a good performance. Awujo not quite there.
Rolfo and Malard stepping up in attack with the goals and our consistent good performers in the fullback roles Sandberg and Riviere working hard and Park with what we expect from her involved in the very nice 2nd goal
Awujo and Olme were not great but not enough to cost us

Williams took on some big strong PSG black players at the sideline and just bounched them off like nothing. Rachel is not quick but she is a fecking cruise ship!

Really important win, shows that we truly deserve to be playing at this level. It’s going to get much harder now, against Lyonnes, Wolfsburg and Juve, but you’d think that 9 points should at least put us into the play-offs.

Earps looked like a sour lemon all night long, its actually funny that she left United because we had no ambition to go to PSG that is paid by Qatar who disrespects women massively.
Happy for Safia, to come in to such a big game at OT I was worried about a big mistake which would probably dent her but she was very good and made a crucial save.

Brilliant stuff from the girls tonight. Rode our luck at times but an excellent result. Jess Park was fantastic.
She did well to come in like that. That said, I was expecting to see her come under more pressure at corners, so I was doubly nervous for her!
Does it matter what colour the PSG players were? Did that make it any more of a triumph. Find it hard to read stuff like this!
I have no idea what you are complaining about. I was just describing what happened on the pitch and I could not recall the names of the PSG players. There was absolutely zero bad intentions with my post at all and I dont have a racist bone in my body. My favorite all time United players are black, my favorite all time musician Stevie Wonder is black etc. I am actually baffled by someone taking offense to this.

Fantastic result after a disappointing weekend. Amazing that we're 3 for 3 in our inaugural WCL campaign, though obviously couple of the remaining games especially against the likes of Lyon are gonna be much tougher.
Why is it? I don´t get it at all. I was describing Rachel going up against some players and to better make it clear what situation I was referring to I described the players by color as I do not know the player names of all PSG players on top of my head. If that is a shocking comment I am just baffled by it, I am actually at loss for words why that would be a shocking comment.
What would actual racism me if that is a shocking comment?

I would not need to call a United player anything else than their name as I can recall every United player by their names. I can not recall even 1/3 of PSGs players by name, thats why I referred to the players Rachel going up against as black, big and powerful or strong.
To me calling someone black is not wrong as I dont think of people of different races as any different or ever would mean any harm by it.

I think you need to be mindful of how it comes across to other posters. You may know your thoughts but other people don't.
As it stands, it seems an unnecessary qualifier - like it wasn't enough to describe the players as big and strong. Even though those were the actual characteristics that made what Williams did look particularly impressive.
It's that unnecessary layer that seems out of place and yes, it can easily come across as racist - intentional or not. If you want to avoid causing unnecessary offence and upset, just dont do it.

I can see that some people are extremely sensitive (possible for good reason of their own) and assume the worst of other people without anything to back it up than a simple comment, that is prejudice to me.
Anyway, I will make sure to not refer to anyone as black going forward as I have been made aware people are taking offense by it regardless of intent and purpose, I apologize for making anyone upset, it was not my intention at all!

As for people being "extremely sensitive" on here - that really isn't the point. Personally, rather than trying to defend yourself, I think that you should look back at your original post and ask if the adjective "black" was
a) necessary
b) helpful in any way
c) likely to cause some offence
That was such an impressive performance after the result midweek and with the players that were out. In particular, I’m so happy for Safia who had a great game, was calm on the ball and made a great save early in the second half. George as well was excellent standing in for Dom.
I’m absolutely loving this CL campaign so far, going through the qualification rounds and now 3 wins from 3 in the league which might already be enough to see us into the knockout stages. Could we possibly finish top 4? We have two really tough opponents next, but the pressure’s slightly off now. Really looking forward to seeing how we do against Wolfsburg.
