LSV is an absolute pain in the a*** to get to. They will never increase the average crowd there significantly. They need to play somewhere with much better public transport links.
The only issue will be if we qualify for the knockouts. I believe VAR is introduced at that stage, and LSV may not have the facilities for it to be hastily set up.

I watch the odd games here and there and know some of our players, and who the best players/teams are. But I'll definitely tune in more.
For what it's worth, I think the key to watching the women is to avoid thinking of it as a "inferior" version of the men's game, but rather to appreciate it on its own terms. On average, of course, the women are not as fast or as strong as the men, and that means that they have to play somewhat differently: For example, I find the women's game much more interesting tactically than the men's. I could list a variety of other reasons why I prefer the women's game if you like, but I'll just say this for now.

I hope they give it the kind of marketing push it'll need. Midweek 8pm kickoffs are tough sells for women's teams, but at least the public transport network will be on our side at OT.
Arsenal have learned how to do it, though it was definitely something they had to learn to do. Chelsea haven't worked out how yet, but their women's team do have new investors who might at least be interested in trying.
That's good news for those who live close. I know it's my own fault for moving to the South West, but I could do a 9 hour coach journey for £15, one-way, plus hotel. Or a 6 hour train journey for £200. Plus hotel.
It's actually more convenient and cost-effective for me to fly to the Juventus game.
In terms of drawing a crowd, one advantage we might have over the others is that hosting early-round WCL matches are routine for Arsenal and Chelsea, but this a first for United. I suppose it might also help that the men's team is having such a tough season: Maybe the match at OT will bring out some fans of the men's team who don't usually follow the women, but would like to see a United team in the Champions League?
I like your optimism, but it just doesn't happen. Brann away was full of fans who support the men and the women. We just don't, and it's rather sad.
I'm not sure what the situation is like in the US, but over here, on forums or in real life, "real men" do not follow women's football. Rarrrrrr.
I don't totally agree with that, many fans obviously do cross over from Men's to Women's but maybe not as many as we would like
Tickets are £15/10 at Old Trafford - I think they could have made it even cheaper to encourage more fans (for comparison the Academy match Vs Bilbao is £10/5 and last season it was only £3/1.50)
I've just paid £4 for a concession ticket for the PSG game at OT. The full price is £8.

The matches they've announced so far are United v PSG and Chelsea v Barcelona.
I think the other matches will be in the playoffs or knockouts. They're certainly planning to show the final and one of the semifinals.
The other matches are on Disney+ in the UK. I think they've got rights across the whole of Europe but I guess like in the UK some may have been sold on.
Figuring out how to watch WCL matches this season in the U.S. is going to be a challenge. I've found a half-dozen different answers at various web sites, most or all of which are surely wrong. I likely will be scrambling at the last minute in hopes of finding a feed for each game. (Fortunately I have a decent VPN if needed, though that's never an ideal solution.) And God knows what I'll have to do to watch the various Cup matches....

The problem is that CBS comprises a large family of TV channels and streaming services and, based on my past experience, it might be hard to find out which particular one is carrying any particular match. From other sources it looks like next Wednesday's match will be on Paramount+, but of course that is one of few streaming services that I don't have.
What's especially frustrating is that in most of the rest of the world the WCL is being carried by Disney+, and I have Disney+! Why everywhere else but not here??!! What have I done to anger the gods?
To be fair, though, it's not as bad as trying to watch the NWSL, which has deals with about a dozen different broadcasters and fans never know where any particular match is going to be on a given day. I don't understand how this can be a good business model. It's much simpler for me to follow the WSL, and the match times fit my schedule better as well.
But most of them don't live in Manchester.

Sure. I'll find a place in Tyldesley within walking/stumbling distance of the Union Arms, and watch all the away matches at the pub while getting season tickets for the home matches.
